Marianne L'Heureux is a professional artist living in New Mexico, the United States. Born in New York City, New York, and raised in Quebec, Canada and Tokyo, Japan, she is a resident of New Mexico since 2000.
A former engineer for fourteen years, she is known for incorporating gold and silver leaf in her art works. Her current works are Navajo themes with Navajo figures/subjects from 1900s; painted behind a background of a vintage Navajo rug design, also painted in.. The colors are monochrome and earth tones. Fine Art prints have silver or gold leaf applied if the original painting has it. Original art work is also for sale.
L'Heureux has art in Public Collections including: Toguh Palace, Tokyo, Japan; Sir Eric Hotung Art Collection, Shanghai, China; The Veteran's Administration, Washington D.C., and The State of New Mexico. Private Collectors are in Asia, South America, North America and Europe.
