Answers to Commonly Asked Questions
On this page we will try to tell you a little about how we describe items, our photos, and our payment and shipping policies.
SHIPPING
Most of our orders are sent USPS or UPS. We have sent out over 3000 items, many to foreign countries, and so far not one has been lost or damaged. Average delivery time to the continental U.S. so far is 3-5 days. Most of the international orders have been delivered within 2 weeks.
We pack everything with care so that your new plants or flowers get to you safe and sound. Each item is packed differently, depending on what is best for that particular item. Some are packed loosely, some packed tightly.
Shipping and handling is discounted for most multiple orders. When considering a purchase of a combination of different items, it is best to email us for an exact amount. The listing may give an amount for multiples of the same item, but obviously shipping a 2 small plants is not the same as 1 small plant and a tree, or 2 trees. Since shipping cost is calculated by total weight and size, including the weight of the box, we need to know the exact items before we can quote exact shipping. Because of Postal Size restrictions, some larger items cannot be shipped together.
We don't add excessive handling charges to make up for a low-priced item.
There is no extra charge for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or any U.S territory. We gladly ship to APO/FPO military addresses.
We welcome International Buyers. We have sent orders to many countries, and each has arrived without incident. However, we do ask that you agree to several conditions.
1. Please check with us for an accurate S&H total before purchase.
2. We send Int'l orders by either letter post if the item is small enough, Global Priority or Airmail Parcel Post, whichever is less. Under no circunstances will we send economy surface; it sometimes takes months to arrive, and is prone to rough handling and theft.
3. All customs forms will be filled out accurately; any duties or fees imposed by the buyers Government are the responsiblity of the buyer. We have no way of knowing if or how much these fees are.
4. Please don't ask us to falsify a customs declaration; we are well known by the local Post Office so they know we aren't sending gifts.
5. We don't add any additional handling charges to overseas packages.
Unless stated in the item description, all of our items are new. Most orders will be shipped within 48 hours of verified payment. If you have any special delivery requirements, please email us right away lindas_silk_floral@verizon.net so that our transaction will be as smooth as possible.
PAYMENT
We appreciate full payment within 5 days of a completed purchase. If you need to make other arrangements please let us know as soon as possible.
We accept credit cards through Paypal. There will be a link in your invoice to easily go to the Paypal site to complete your transaction. We also accept Money Orders, Cashiers Checks, and personal checks. When choosing one of these methods, we do ask that you let know by email.
If making multiple purchases, please wait to make a payment until you have completed your shopping and receive an invoice from us. If you aren't sure about combined shipping charges as you shop please feel free to email us for information. We will always try to keep S&H charges as low as possible while insuring that your order gets to you quickly and safely.

PHOTOS & DESCRIPTIONS
We will never knowingly mis-represent the size or quality of any item. Please read item descriptions carefully. If you have any questions about any of our items please don't hesitate to ask.
Although we aren't professional photographers, we attempt to make our photos clear and accurate representations, in our home in natural light and surroundings. When possible we try not to use 'catalogue' photos, but photos of the actual item. In cases where we have multiples of the same item, there may be subtle variations in color shading, just like real flowers or plants. We check each item as it's being packed for quality and color; if there is a significant difference we will take a new photo and send it for your approval before shipping.
All photos are double-checked for accuracy, but we have no control over how your monitor will display colors as each is a little different. We can tell you that so far no one has told us that their item was different in color than the description photo. Unless you send us a color sample, we can't guarantee a color match to something already in your possession.

COMMUNICATION
Good communication is essential for a pleasant shopping experience. We constantly monitor our email. If you don't receive a reply from us within 12 hours, chances are either we didn't receive it, or our response to you is in your spam email folder.
If your order is late or arrives and there is a problem, please let us know immediately. In the case of shipping damage, be sure to save the packaging. We have never found a situation that couldn't be resolved. If we make a mistake, we will do whatever we can to rectify it.

Availability
All products are new and in stock at the time of listing. There are times, however, when opening a new box of product we find a problem with color or quantity. And in all honesty we sometimes mis-count inventory. You will be notified immediately, and if we can't replace the item in a reasonable amount of time we will give you the opportunity to accept a refund or replacement.
