Things to note when choosing a ski size:
- There are 2.54 cm in an inch. So getting a ski that is 3 cm +/- what the chart says wont affect the average recrational/intermediate skier. The chart above decifers what ski a person needs based upon where the ski will measure up to their body.
- Little children need the ski to hit them in the chest/shoulders so as to help avoid leg fatigue and crossing their skis.Beggining skiers will want the ski to go up to their chin so they will be able to manuever the ski without going too fast.Recreational skiers with experience will probably need a ski that hit them in the nose because they will get a good mix of speed and manueverability.Intermediate skiers will may want something that is long for a more aggresive trip down the hill so a ski that goes up to the forhead to the top of the head will usually be best.Advanced skiers will want to choose what size ski they use based upon their skiing style, conditions they are skiing in, and the type of ski they want to use. For speed a longer ski, for a more responsive ski a shorter ski will be best.
- If you have an unusually large stature you may want to order a ski that is a bit longer. If you have a small stature you may want to order a shorter ski.
- This chart is a generalization. It is merely to help you get close to the size that will work for an average sized person for each height. It does not take into consideration variables such as a person's stature, where they are skiing, and what they are skiing on. When in doubt about what ski to choose please give us a call at 1-509-663-5255. We are not responsible for skis ordered off of this chart that don't work well for what you need. Please see our RETURN POLICY about exchanging skis.

Things to note when choosing a snowboard:
- If you are a beggining rider you should choose a size that is on the low end
of the size range for your height.
- For a good general rule of thumb begginging riders will want a board that
will hit them between the chin and nose when standing on end. Advanced riders
will choose a board that best fits their riding style.
- If you have a size 12us mens foot or larger you will want to buy a wide
snowboard or your feet will hand over the edge. 10.5-11.5 us mens size is
boardline for buying a wide board. If you have any question about the proper
board size please give us a call at 1-509-663-5255 M-F 8-4:30 PST (Pacific Standard time)
- This chart is a generalization of board sizes. Each person has different
dimensions, skill level, and riding style. We are not responsible if you recieve
a snowboard that is not right for you. If you have any doubt about what size to
get please give us a call at 1-509-663-5255 . See our RETURN POLICY about exchanging snowboards.

Things to note when choosing a boot:
- Not every ski and snowboard boot is true to size. Please read the information on the boot about sizing and when in doubt give us a call.
- To avoid unnecessary shipping charges and time delays you may want to order a half size larger on all boots.
- For ski and snowboard boots to fit properly you want your toe to feather the end of the boot when you are standing straight up.
- New ski and snowboard boots will pack out while wearing them. So, they may seem a bit snug, but after a few trips to the hill they will loosen up.
- This chart is a generalization of boot sizes. One manufactures 12 may be the equivelent of anothers 11 or 11.5. We are not responsible for boots that do not fit

Key notes before choosing a board:
- Height is not a factor
- The chart above is a general sizing chart for beggining riders. Skill level, riding style, and board model are major factors to consider for advanced riders.
- Never choose a more advanced board than your skill level because you wont be able to stay on.
- For a family board that will fit Mom, Dad, and Older Children a 136 is a good length. Unless riders are over 200 lbs or are under 100 lbs.
