Lorien Guitar Recovery recovers electric and acoustic guitars, mandolins, and other string instruments that are cast aside by their owners. We look for unique but not uncommon instruments, and turn them into music makers again. It is our goal to find well-made, affordable instruments, make them better, keep them affordable, and get them into the hands of players that will appreciate them. These guitars are typically from 8-30 years old. If you want a newer instrument, we sell newer refurbished instruments. These come from a factory authorized refurbisher, who receives them from the factories. Sometimes overruns, sometimes rejected by quality control, or sometimes returned to the factory by retailers, these instruments are rigorously tested and inspected, repaired if needed and then released for sale. All of them are fabulous deals. We pick the best and most unique, and offer them at an affordable price. These guitars are typically 1-3 years old. Our goal: make playing music affordable.
