 The MyChron4 is a powerful data acquisition gauge and digital display for kart racing. It combines a temperature gauge, tachometer, lap timer, and data logger into a compact, powerful unit that easily mounts to your steering wheel. It is a digital dash, gauge, and data logger with graphical and digital RPM (tach) indicator, automatic lap time, and temperature input for exhaust gas, cylinder head or water sensors.
The high-resolution graphic display displays large digits during race mode, smaller, easy to read text during setup and in menus, and shows analysis information such as torque curves and RPM "candlestick" graphs. Backlight in either amber or green, this gorgeous display can also display custom graphics like team logos and pictures.
(Note: backlight color is fixed, pick color when you order.)
The MyChron4 uses an internal 9V battery for extended performance. Specialised display modes for oval, sprint and road style racers are included. The MyChron4 also features 1 MB of memory for over 3 hours of data logging. Simplified configuration and easy to read menus make operating the MyChron4 a snap.
Configurable alarm lights for temperature and RPM (shift) are located on the top. The MyChron4 uses the same sensors, leads and beacon as the MyChron3.
Add more features to the MyChron4 with the optional expansion box (E-Box). The E-Box adds extra channels for 2 temperatures, wheel speed and an accelerometer for track mapping. Learn more about the MyChron4 E-Box here.
Use the new Data Key to download and store your racing data. It's USB interface quickly connects to your laptop so you can transfer your data to your PC for analysis with our Race Studio 2 software. The compact Data Key reduces the need for a laptop out in the pits.

 We have all heard that GPS modules are useful for map-tracking purposes, but GPS can be used to acquire much more important data: from brakes analysis to chassis information and driver behaviour.
The GPS module is connectable and perfectly compatible with AIM products such AS: MyChron4, MXL professional gauge, and EVO 3 datalogger.

 MyChron4 E-Box (Expansion Box)
The MyChron4 E-box is an optional upgrade for the MyChron4 karting gauge. The E-box provides extra sensors for:
- 2 temperatures (including exhaust gas (EGT), cylinder head (CHT), or water)
- Wheel speed
- Track mapping with an internal G-sensor (accelerometer)
- Extra battery for extended running time
The functions provided by the E-Box are similar to the MyChron3 Gold features. In developing the E-box, AiM Sports leveraged CAN (controller area network) technology from the automotive racing world. Simply connect the E-box to the MyChron4 and the extra functions are instantly enabled.

The MyChron4 Data Key provides an easy way to download data from your MyChron4 without needing a laptop. Keep your laptop safe in the trailer and use the data key to download each session as you come off the track. Its compact size and shape makes it easy to keep in your pocket or toolbox.
The data key easily stores hundreds of runs, making it easy to collect data all weekend before transferring, or from all your team members as they come off the track. The USB connection makes it easy to transfer the collected data to your PC. Non-volatile flash memory stores your data without batteries and keeps it safe despite the shocks and vibrations of the track.

 By the Numbers
The MultiChron stopwatch is a versatile hand-held digital lap timer that tracks up to four different racers simultaneously. Its generous memory lets you quickly see best laps and scroll through all of the laps to review the race, up to 99 laps per driver. But we didn't stop there - you can also have up to 9 splits per competitor, per lap.
The MultiChron is suited for any racing situation including motorsports, swimming, running, track and field and other athletic events. It makes a great gift for anyone involved in competitive sports.
Start Me Up
The MultiChron stopwatch features 2 different starting modes to match a variety of racing situations.
"One Start Mode" allows you to activate the start for all drivers by pressing only one button for races where all drivers start at the same time.
"Multi Start Mode" allows you to activate the timer for each driver independently, for races where drivers start at different times.
Innovative programming allows you to select "Multi-Key" or "One Key" timing modes, depending on the racing situation, making it easy to get accurate times even when your racers are close together at the lap marker.
