Rates: To determine shipping costs please use the shipping calculator found at the bottom of the item listing.  We attempt to charge as close to actual shipping as possible. Rates are based on the initial item weight and the estimated weight of packaging materials that will be added once the auction is complete. 

Combined Shipping: Multiple purchases may be combined into one shipment. Cost based on total weight. You may combine your purchases to create your own invoice, or contact us once your order is complete and we will send you a combined invoice.

International Shipping:  Shipments will only be made outside the United States for items that list international shipping as an option to the buyers country. We do not accept international buyers for all items. In these cases we will not accept international bidders regardless of feedback, payment method, or other reason unless the buyer has a valid U.S. address for the item to be shipped to.  International buyer will be responsible for paying any and all associated import taxes, fees or duties for purchased goods. The MSU Surplus Store reserves the right to refuse shipment to other countries based on it's own discretion.

Insurance: Insurance is available as an option at checkout.

Media Mail: While the USPS claims a 2-9 business day delivery time it has been our experience that it can take up to 25 business days in some cases.

P.O. Box: Items must be sent through a USPS service.

Shipping Alternatives: Special shipping arrangements such as other shipping methods not listed above (Fed Ex, DHL, Overnight, ect.), local pickup, and freight services may be available upon request.   Please contact us for more information, but do note for many of our listings we are unable to ship items internationally (see below for more information). 

Local Pickup: Refer to our eBay Local Pickup Instructions for more information about this free service.  Contact us indicating your desire to pick up item(s) locally before payment is made so that we may send you an updated invoice for payment without shipping charges. In some cases, larger items may be available for local pick up only (this will be noted in the auction description). In this instance, buyer may arrangement shipping with a freight shipping company.  We will provide weight and loading assistance.

Our normal business hours are 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Monday through Friday (EST). Sales completed and questions received after normal business hours will be handled the next business day.

We accept returns up to 7 days following receipt of the item when paid via PayPal. Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped. A full refund will be issued following receipt of the item.

Michigan Residents will be charged 6% State Sales Tax (including shipping and handling charges) as required by Michigan Law.

If buyer has tax exemption status or a resellers certification, proof of this status is required by either bringing certification to the store when you pick up/pay  your purchase or contact us to have the form faxed to you.
