1. How do I know if an item is authentic?

Fake/counterfeit items have always been in the memorabilia marketplace. The best way to avoid being a victim is to buy from an established dealer that has a solid reputation and a fair return policy. The best advice on how to avoid a problem is to educate yourself on what you are collecting and do some research. Being knowledgeable also makes your hobby more enjoyable.

2. Does a Certificate of Authenticity guarantee the item is real?

A Certificate of Authenticity or COA is only as good as the company that sells the product. A printer and a good graphic designer can print a COA in minutes. Look at how long the seller has been in business. What do people in the industry say about them? Take a look at other items they have for sale and see if anything looks questionable to you. As the saying goes, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

3. Where does Rock N' Roll Warehouse obtain their items?

From stagehands to band members themselves, Rock N' Roll Warehouse has developed relationships with some of the finest individuals within the music industry. It is our goal to bring you, the customer, authentic hard to find music collectibles.

4. Did the band actually use that guitar pick or drum stick in concert?

Items on our site are hard to find, authentic band issued items and tend to be in unworn condition. Most guitar picks and drum sticks that have been extensively used in concert tend to have the print partially worn off. In most cases this tends to decrease the value of an item because of its appearance. In general, the better condition the item is in, the higher the price. This is a personal preference and differs with each collector.

5. Can I use the passes I purchase on your site to get backstage?

Unfortunately the answer is NO. The backstage passes that we sell are authentic tour items for shows that have already taken place and are for collectible purposes only. Respect the band and their personnel and avoid some embarrassment if you get caught.

6. So then how do I get backstage passes prior to a show?

Today more than ever, the concert industry is a business. There are multitude of meet and greet opportunities that can either be purchased from the band s websites, radio station giveaways or knowing someone in the industry. We all wish it were the 1980's and everyone is invited to the backstage party.

7. How does a crew shirt differ from a concert shirt?

Concert tour shirts are those primarily purchased from the merchandise booths at the show. Crew shirts are generally given to tour and local stagehands for an appreciation of their hard work during the tour. Crew shirts are much rarer than the standard concert tour shirt due to the numbers that are in the marketplace.

8. Why is shipping taking longer than the description states?

Rock N' Roll Warehouse will mail your item as stated in the listing description. There are times that the delivery service (USPS, Fedex, UPS) may be slower than usual. Please look at the postmark date and verify that we did our part. Please do not leave negative feedback for something we had no control over.

9. How do you determine shipping costs?

Shipping costs are not just postage. Please take into account packing materials, employee time spent at the post office and other variables. All shipping costs are clearly stated in the listing description. If you do not agree with our shipping terms, contact us prior to purchasing.

10. Can you appraise my memorabilia collection?

Rock N' Roll Warehouse has worked extensively with customers looking to appraise their collections for insurance purposes, estate planning or just personal knowledge. If you have collection that you would like to have appraised, contact us for more information.
