How much is shipping for this item?

We offer FedEx Ground as our standard shipping method for all domestic packages.  You will receive an email from us (orders@makemechic.com) please add this to your address book in case it gets sorted to the junk mail folder) with your tracking number when your order is ready for shipment.  To ensure that you can get your package safely, please leave your contact # when checkout.  FedEx will call you and follow your instruction on how and where to leave your package.  Whether at the front porch or at a safe area you request. 


Your items are automatically insured for full value! Signature confirmation may be purchased at checkout for additional fee.

FedEx is unable to deliver to: PO Boxes, US territories, military bases such as APO, FPO, AE, PR, Hawaii, and Alaska. Please note that your order will be shipped out with USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation only, which normally take 2~7 business days.  Please note that post office does not scan the label during pick up, the tracking number will only work when the package is actually delivered. This means that no tracking info will be updated for the item until the package is delivered. (insurance optional)

Please refer to the tables below for shipping costs, all shipping rates are based on highest shipping cost first.  (ie, if you order 1 clothing item, 2 shoes and 1 boots, your shipping calculation is based on the boots)

What is your Return Policy?
We want you to love what you ordered. We strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.  If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, you may return it for a refund within 30 days, but please note: shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

We have an unconditional return policy refunding the purchase amount or our current price at the time items are returned back to us.  Auction sales are final on all Clearance Items (items may or may not be shipped with original shoe box).

Items must be in its original, UNWORN condition within 30 days of purchase or a 50% restocking fee will be applied.  We must receive the item back with its original packaging material and all tags must be attached.  Returns without original tags or unwrapped will be subject to 20% per item restocking fee based on the total price including shipping. 
Please send the original item back with a protective box or wrapped with thick paper.  You must include the original invoice along with the returned item in order for us to process your return properly (please state reason as to why item is being returned such as: sizing or defect).  Refunds are processed within 15 business days of receipt of package through the original payment method.  (ie: If paid by PayPal, it would be refunded to your PayPal account, if by money order, you will receive a check.)

On very rare cases, we do make mistakes on shipping item, if this happens, please contact us (orders@makemechic.com) prior to leaving any feedback.  We will take care of the problem immediately. We will provide a return shipping label or we will fully reimburse (USPS Priority Mail only) your return shipping back to us depending on the case. Upon receipt of the wrong item sent, we will either send you the correct item free of charge or issue a full refund including shipping and handling depending on the current inventory status. What is your Exchange Policy?
You may exchange your item if you are unhappy with your purchase at no additional cost to you; all you have to do is send them back!
(buyer is responsible for shipping costs back)
Fashion items/ styles turn over rapidly; therefore, we cannot hold an item for a customer for an exchange.  If you would like to exchange an item, please follow the instruction below:

1. Find the item you wish to exchange for (in our website/eBay store).
2. Purchase it like a brand new order, proceed with checkout & PAY for it immediately.
3. You will have a new order number for the new purchase.
4. Send back the original item along with original invoice & write "Exchange" & the new order number of the new purchase. If such instructions are not stated on the invoice, we will treat the item as a RETURN and shipping will not be refunded
5. Please send the original item back with a protective box or wrapped with thick paper.
Item(s) received unwrapped or without the original box will be subject to a 20% per item restocking fee
6. We will issue you a refund for the item(s) returned. Shipping & Handling fees will not be refunded if the original item(s) received free additional shipping. Any promotions applied will not be refunded.

When will I get my refund?
We will process refunds within 15 days of receiving the package (if refund is not receive by the allotted time, please send us you order information such as order/item# and return tracking info)

Refunds are issued directly back to the original payment method. For credit cards, depending on your bank, it may take 3-5 business days to post.

If items are not available to process due to manufacture defects, we will issue an immediate refund directly back to you with or without notice.

Do you have this item in another size, style or color?
MakeMeChic carries extensive selections of footwear and sells hundreds of pairs of shoes each week.  Therefore, our inventory changes rapidly.  ALL of our products that are in stock have a live listing at all times.  If the item is not listed on our website , then we do not have it in stock.  Please feel free to use our advance Store search tool to search by style name in the SKU# box. (style names are listed in the detailed description or item title)



Do you have more size or measurement information?
All the available size and measurement information is displayed with the item listing and all measurements are +/- one-inch. We list all the manufacturer's information and we also take our own measurements for things like heel height or boot shaft height.  The width of each product is generally listed within the auction sub-heading or description.  As a rule of thumb, all product is regular or medium width unless specified otherwise.  Since all shoes are securely packed and prepared for shipping once listed (at our prices the shoes don't stay around very long) we are unfortunately not able to take additional measurements for you.
But our generous return policy allows you to return any items that you do not absolutely love.


What condition are the shoes you sell?
MakeMeChic sells ONLY BRAND NEW, FIRST QUALITY merchandise purchased directly from manufacturers. All shoes are unworn and shipped in shoe boxes.

If I don't find my size, what should I do?
MakeMeChic updates inventory everyday.  If items are not listed, they are currently out of stock. We reorder out of stock items within 3 weeks, but if we are unable to receive them, they will become discontinued items.

BIDDING & BUYING    


Oops! How do I cancel my bid?
To cancel your bid BEFORE the auction has ended, please visit eBay's Bid Retraction page.

Prior bidding, please read the size, description and store policy carefully.  Please do not bid on one size/color and ask for another.  We kindly ask that shoppers do not bid or purchase items if they do not intend to pay.

I am the winning bidder, can I cancel my order because I bid on wrong size/color/style?
To cancel your bid AFTER the auction/Buy It Now has ended you will need to contact MakeMeChic by e-mail us A.S.A.P. Since eBay charges MakeMeChic fees for every item we list, we must contact eBay for reimbursement of those fees.  Therefore, there will be a cancellation charge for our listing fees ($5.00/item), in this case we will not contact ebay.

I am bidding on other items - does MakeMeChic combined shipping discounts?
If you win one item and complete our checkout immediately, you will not be eligible to receive combined shipping on subsequent items purchased or won. In order to qualify for our combined shipping discount, you must complete checkout AFTER all items are added to your cart. Items purchased using the same online ID (ie. ebay user ID) will automatically be consolidated into one checkout "cart" and will apply the combined shipping discount to your order total. Once a checkout has been completed, all subsequent transactions will be added to a new checkout "cart". If you use multiple online ID's, there is no way for us to combine those checkout items. Please remember that you still only have 10 days (from the transaction date) to complete checkout - otherwise all items in your checkout will be canceled, re-posted for sale, and will be submitted as a dispute.
 

Why is there no Buy It Now option for eBay items?
Buy It Now options are automatically removed by eBay if there are current bids on the item. You would need to place your bid with other buyers to win the auction. Because we list all our available quantities, you may also use the item title to search our store to see if there is another one available.

 
PAYMENT    


Have you received my payment?
We will send you a confirmation email when your payment is received. Once you have completed checkout, you may check the status of your order at any time:

Please allow 5-10 business days for us to receive your money order, an email confirmation will be sent once payment is received. Checkout will be disabled and items re-listed if we do not receive your Money Order within 10 days after completion of checkout.
Orders will be delayed and/or cancelled for customers who do not complete our online checkout within 10 days (including Money Orders). Thank you for your cooperation.

Do you accept Ebay Gift Cards?
Yes! eBay Gift Cards can be used with our checkout system by selecting PayPal as the payment method. When doing this, you will be able to enter the gift card information when you are re-directed to PayPal to pay at the end of the checkout.

How do I pay for my eBay purchases?
If bidding on more than one item, do not checkout individually for each item, only checkout after you are done purchasing the last item, delay checkout no more than 10 days, until winning the LAST auction. We will not be able to combine your order & offer shipping discount if you checkout or pay separately for multiple items.

  • Pay Now: After you win the auction or Buy It Now, click the 'Pay Now' button at the top of the ad listing to immediately proceed with the checkout and payment process.
  • Pay Later: If you do not choose to Pay Now, we will automatically send you an e-mail within three hours of auction close. Our message will contain a link to our simple and SECURE checkout system, where you will be able to quickly and conveniently pay for your purchase. You may also continue purchasing additional items from our auctions or eBay store. You have 10 days from the end of the first purchase to add additional items to your order. Make sure all of your auctions have ended prior to checking out. All of your purchases will be consolidated under one invoice.

How long can I wait to pay for my item?
From the moment an auction ends or a Buy It Now is chosen, you have exactly 10 days to complete payment.  On the 11th day, we must cancel the order, and re-list the item for sale and file with eBay for a refund on Final Value Fee that we incurred on the sale.  Please note:  If bidding on more than one item, do not checkout individually for each item, only checkout after you are done purchasing the last item, delay checkout no more than 10 days, until winning the LAST auction.

Can I use eBay Checkout to complete my purchase?
We use a
secure online checkout that allows you to save money on shipping (by combining multiple items), and confirm your address. Please use the Checkout button at the top of the item listing when you are ready.

Orders will be delayed and/or cancelled for customers who do not complete our online checkout. Thank you for your cooperation.

What forms of payment does Make Me Chic accept?
We accept the following forms of payment (U.S. Dollars only) during our secure, online checkout:

*echecks are like regular checks and may take Paypal up to 15 days to clear. As a shipper, we need to wait until payments are cleared before items can be shipped. For expedited shipping, we do not recommend echecks.

*Google checkouts: no promotions or codes can be applied to Google checkouts.

Can I send you a PayPal payment without using your checkout?
No, it will delay your order. MakeMeChic checkout only takes a few minutes and allows you to:

  • confirm your shipping information
  • choose a shipping method
  • calculate your shipping total
  • save money by combining multiple items into a single order
  • make sure your payment gets applied to your order!

For your convenience, our checkout integrates with PayPal so you can send us a payment at the completion of your checkout. Please note that orders will be delayed and/or cancelled for customers who do not complete our online checkout. Thank you for your cooperation.
If your payment was sent, but you are still getting the “unpaid item” email reminder, please email us at orders@makemechic.com with your transaction ID so we may look up your payment and we may continue processing your order.

Can I still submit my payment although I am late in paying the item?
Please email us and provide your Auction#/Order#/Email Address to check the availability of your order.
.  If we still have the item in stock, we can reopen the checkout for you and send you the checkout link. Since items are automatically re-listed by eBay and MakeMeChic.com when items are not paid within 10 days, you will need to reorder the item again if it is still available online.

Can I mail you my payment?
Yes - Once you have completed your online checkout, you may mail us a Money Order. Please be sure to send your payment along with the invoice or write your order number on the Money Order! Please use the "Checkout" button in the item listing and you will receive payment instructions.

Has my order been shipped?
Our normal turn around time for processing orders is 2-4 business days excluding weekends and holidays after payment is received and cleared. Once the payment is received, we will send the order back to our warehouse the very next business day. Once items are ready to ship, we will send you an email notification with your tracking information.

If your item has not been shipped within 10 days, please contact us immediately (orders@makemechic.com) so we can check the status of your order right away.

We offer FREE SHIPPING within U.S. for each additional item, if you purchase more than one item, we will only charge the highest SH fee -- BUY MORE & SAVE MORE!

Do you offer fast shipping?
Yes!  Most orders are shipped within 2 to 3 business days upon receiving payment, which means that U.S. customers usually receive their orders within 3 to 7 business days of payment.  If you need your order sooner, we do offer FedEx 2nd Day, FedEx Standard Overnight and FedEx International Priority services.

What countries do you ship to?
Worldwide!  If your country is not listed in our checkout list, please contact us (orders@makemechic.com) and we can double check to see if we are able to ship to you. Your items are automatically insured for full value if shipped with FedEx.

How long will it take to get my order?
Domestic shipping is handled by FedEx Express Saver/FedEx Ground Service/USPS Priority Mail, which takes 2~7 business days for delivery.  Shipping method will be determined by Make Me Chic shipping specialist.  For most domestic orders, we will ship via FedEx Ground.  For buyers who have P.O. Box addresses, military bases, Hawaii, Alaska and all other US territories will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. You will receive a tracking number and please visit the FedEx/USPS website to track your order. 
All international orders take extra inspection; therefore, please allow 5 business days for us to inspect, prepare and hand packed your package for shipment. 

Can I combine multiple items to save on shipping?
AbsolutelyYes!  If you purchase multiple items you may automatically combine any unpaid items into one order for combined shipping discount.  Buy more and SAVE more!  All shipping rates are based on highest shipping cost.

*please note: if items are not paid within 3 days, our automated system will start to issue payment reminder emails and after 10 days, the order will be cancelled and items will be re-listed for sale. We allow no more than 10 days between the first and last items to be added to the checkout to qualify for combined shipping.

We are not able to edit orders (or combine items) that have already completed checkout.


How do I track my order?
Once you have completed checkout, you may check the status of your order at any time:

Where is my order?
If you do not receive your order within 10 business days or more after completing your checkout, please contact us at orders@makemechic.com (please provide us with your name, email, order#, and tel#) and we can resolve the issue right away.

What if my package is lost/damage?
FedEx is proven to be the most reliable shipping partner, your package will be scanned every stage so you will know where your package is during every stage.  If your address is an apartment unit, most likely the FedEx driver will leave a notice on your door if no one is present, and you will need to pick it up at your local FedEx station (please schedule pick up by calling 800 G0-FEDEX).  To ensure that you can get your package safely, please leave your contact # when you checkout.  For FedEx 2nd day and Overnight services, FedEx will call you and follow your instruction on how and where to leave your package.  Whether at the front porch or at a safe area you request.

Incase the package has not been received, we, as the shipper, will help the recipient file an insurance claim (2-15 business days to complete).  Please note: if the tracking# shows the status as “delivered”, FedEx may or may not be accountable for the loss of the package.  

To avoid lost packages, we encourage you to choose the Signature Request Service during checkout for a small fee to insure your package is delivered. Please note, Make Me Chic offers the signature confirmation as insurance that the package will be delivered, therefore if this option is not selected during checkout, Make Me Chic will not be held liable for the loss of package.  

If your package was damaged during transit, FedEx will be held responsible for any damages incurred on the package. Please report the damages  made to the package directly to us, and we as the shipper will also file an insurance claim for you.

My order is returned back to MakeMeChic due to a delivery failure, what should I do?
Packages are returned to us if they are undeliverable. When a carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we will immediately contact you for an updated reshipment address (re-shipping fees will be implemented). If we do not receive any contact within a week of the package being returned, we will issue a refund less the shipping costs.

We ship all packages based on the address you provide during checkout. Please make sure that the address you enter is correct. If it is a company, please put the company name in the Company Field!!


I live near MakeMeChic Can I pick up my item to avoid shipping charge?
We are not a retail store, therefore no pickups available.

Why isn't my item ready for checkout?
Once an auction ends or an item is purchased with Buy It Now, our systems need to collect the customer information from eBay. This process can take up to a few hours during which time the item will not be ready for checkout. Once the item IS ready for checkout, we will email the buyer with a custom link to our quick and secure checkout.

Why does your checkout say my email address is not correct?
MakeMeChic is provided with the details on the transaction, including the email address by the buyer. For security purposes MakeMeChic requires the buyer to enter the buyer's email address during checkout.

For our buyer’s protection, the billing and shipping address must match to complete your checkout with a credit card transaction. If you need us to ship to an address other than your bill to, please enter the address in the “special shipping instructions” box.

Who pays for duties and customs fees?
All international orders are subject to duties, taxes and fees as determined by their local government. The customer is responsible for all duties and taxes. FedEx and USPS only act as the collects for the fees due to Customs. The fees due are based by each case, and are not covered by Make Me Chic. If the order is purchased as a gift, please specify in the “special shipping instructions” box during checkout, and we can mark the package as Gift.
