Combined Shipping

What is S&H? S&H is fees that what a merchant charges their customer for handling and shipping an item or items to their customers delivery location. Shipping is the actual freight and the handling fees is for the packaging material, insurance and effort in getting the merchandise ready for shipping.

To faciliate our customers in saving money we do combined shipping. The amount that we charge to combine ship is based on value and or weight of the item. As much as we like to charge you nothing for S&H on the combined shipping we do have cost that we incurred in processing the combine shipping items. First we need to sort out the orders, calculate the fees then process the orders to be shipped. On top of that we have to pay for shipping extra shipping weight and insurance value. Each combine ship order requries personnal attention. 

How to calculate the amount that we charge to combine ship? Combined shipping charges are calculated based on the higher of the shipping charges plus the additional fee for each additional item. Additional combined ship fee starts at $3.00 and up. These additional rates are based on the weight, value and handling time to get it ready for shipping.

When combine shipping, the carrier method will be that of the highest of the shipping method. For example, if the highest of the S&H is UPS 2nd Day we will ship via UPS 2nd Day even if you selected USPS 1st Class mail on the second item.  

Before you start complaining about the combined ship fees, remember that we are located in New York City when rent is higher and that we take care of our dedicated employees by paying them well above the minimum wages ($7.15/hour in NY). Moreover we have to pay for additional shipping weight and insurance if applicable.
