Marylandtowns Shipping Policy
As stated on eBay, the shipping costs are paid for by the buyer, NOT the seller and are determined by the size and weight of the item sold on eBay. eBay uses a calculator based on United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Services (UPS) rates and the Zip Code of the buyer from the seller.
We at Marylandtowns.com will weigh the object (item) and/or measure the size to determine the best method of shipment. Insurance, an option selected by the buyer, is also added to the shipping price to assure the buyer that the item is received without damage. If damage occurs, this guarantees that both the Seller and the Buyer are protected against lost.
PayPal helps your buyers feel more confident when purchasing on eBay. With PayPal Buyer Protection, buyer confidence grows. Marylandtowns.com uses PayPal because of their protection plan. When a buyer uses PayPal to pay for a qualified listing on eBay, PayPal Buyer Protection provides free coverage up to $1,000 free to the buyer.
It's easy to see if our items are covered: Look for the PayPal Buyer Protection shield next to the Item Title within Search and Listing results, or in the Seller Information box on an Item page. When you see the shield, you know the item is covered by PayPal Buyer Protection.
We charge a 2.50 shipping and handleing fee due to exspenes for tape, boxes, bubble mailers, ziploc bags, printer ink, labels, time spent packing, gas, waiting time at the post office and etc
