Payment

We utilize an automated auction management system – ChannelAdvisor. After all items have been purchased, proceed through the “checkout now” link in any one of the listing pages to complete payment. The checkout cart compiles all your information and notifies us of your payment. We would appreciate completion of checkout within 2 business days of the end of your purchase. The following forms of payment are accepted:

PayPal – Our checkout cart will redirect you to PayPal’s website to make payment. You can also request a PayPal invoice directly from us if you have problems paying through our checkout cart. Please note that if you send a payment directly through PayPal without first going through our checkout cart, we will not be notified of the payment. In this case, notify us of the direct PayPal payment, so we will know to process your order. Failure to do so may lead to a delay in processing your order. Credit cards – Our online checkout cart has a built-in secure credit card processor that accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards. Sales Tax

We charge 9.75% sales tax for all orders shipping within California. Tax exemption is available if we are provided with a valid California seller's permit and our filled-out California resale certificate prior to payment. Sales tax cannot be removed once paid, and is non-refundable if the seller's permit and resale certificate are provided after payment.

Shipping Policy

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days of receipt of payment. The average time of arrival is 5-7 business days for domestic shipments by FedEx Ground, 7-10 business days for domestic freight truck shipments, and 10-12 business days for international shipments – processing and delivery times are not guaranteed. If you need to receive an order within a guaranteed timeframe, please call us at 1-800-629-3325 for rush options and expedited shipping. We ship most orders by FedEx, so provide us with a physical shipping address. We may ship an order by a different courier at our discretion (ex: larger items may require freight truck, orders to military addresses must be shipped by USPS, etc.) Posted domestic shipping/handling rates, as well as “free shipping” offers are applicable to the contiguous 48 United States only; Alaska, Hawaii, military addresses, and other US territories are exempt from free shipping offers, unless otherwise specifically stated. Contact us for a shipping quote if there is no shipping rate posted for your location. Note that certain freight carriers may impose additional charges for special services such as, but not limited to, lift-gate fee and residential delivery fee – these are not covered by Max Tool and not included in original shipping/handling, unless specifically stated. Saturday, Sunday, and national holidays are not business days and are not included in our estimated shipping times. Please provide us with a current contact telephone number, so that we may contact you if any issues arise in the shipping process that may require your attention.

International customers - All dollar amounts listed are in United States dollars and will be the basis for which orders will be charged. The exact amount charged to you in your local currency may change, depending on currency fluctuations. Please check www.xe.com for the conversion to your local currency. All electrical items (including, but not limited to, battery chargers) use US standard 110/120V 60 Hz outlets, unless otherwise stated. Promotions, free gifts, and warranties are not applicable outside the United States.

Shipping (Posting) - Separate charges involved in importing/shipping items not directly classified as shipping/handling or postage/packing, including, but not limited to, VAT, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees, are the responsibility of the purchaser, not Max Tool. Please contact your local government and shipping couriers for information regarding these charges. International customers are responsible for clearing packages through customs, including paying any charges due upon importation. If a failure to do so results in a package being undelivered, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping/handling charge and any return shipping/handling charges (free or discounted shipping items will be assessed the full shipping charge). These shipping charges can be very expensive, so please ensure that you are prepared to clear the package when necessary. Such a returned package is considered a voluntarily returned package and would be subject to our terms for returns.

Warranty

Max Tool warrants purchases against manufacturing defect for 30 days from the date of purchase (see "Return Policy"). Max Tool makes no warranties, express or implied, beyond this period, unless otherwise specifically and expressly stated. Further warranty may be offered by the product manufacturer. This warranty does not apply to products which are used for purposes other than that which they were designed for or which have been altered in any way that is detrimental to the performance or life of the product. For warranty information on a particular item or to obtain warranty parts/service on an item (if applicable), please contact the item manufacturer.

DuroMax Warranty: DuroMax items (including, but not limited to generators, gas engines, and water pumps) carry a 1-year limited parts warranty. If, under the course of normal, non-commercial use, the DuroMax item fails within 1 year from the date of purchase, as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, Max Tool will provide necessary replacement or repair parts at no charge for the parts. Labor costs and shipping/handling costs are not included under this warranty policy and are the responsibility of the buyer. This warranty does not cover failure due to normal wear and tear or abuse. This warranty applies only to purchases made directly with Max Tool and only to the original purchaser. This warranty is void with misapplication, misuse, or negligence of the product

Returns

Max Tool's 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee allows for the return of new and unused products in original factory condition and used defective products for 30 days from the date of purchase. Returns must be pre-approved by Max Tool and have a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number issued by Max Tool. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend using a shipping carrier with online tracking and insurance. Max Tool will replace the item with an identical item, issue a full store credit for the value of the item, or issue a refund for the value of the item, minus a 15% restocking fee. Original shipping and handling is non-refundable. Items with free or discounted shipping will have the full shipping and handling cost, according to www.maxtool.com or our current print catalog for the shipping weight of the item, deducted from the credit or refund amount. Returns are not allowed for the following items: generators, engines, and water pumps that have been fueled, and tarps and generator covers that have been removed from their original packaging.

Cancellations

If you do not wish to complete a purchase, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to cancel your purchase prior to the package being shipped, but we cannot guarantee that the order will be stopped in time. If an order has already been shipped, simply refuse the package when it arrives or return the package to sender if the courier delivers the package. Shipping and handling paid is non-refundable on order cancellations. If an item has free or discounted shipping, the full shipping and handling cost, according to www.maxtool.com or our current print catalog for the shipping weight of the item, will be deducted from the refund or credit amount. Order cancellations may also be subject to cancellation fee of 15% of the item value.

Feedback

We value the eBay feedback process and actively partake in the process. However, we only leave feedback for buyers when feedback is received. The reason being that not all buyers leave feedback and it is unfair for us to leave feedback for those who do not take the same time to leave it for us. We believe that most problems have a reasonable mutual solution, so give us a chance - negative feedback is not warranted in most situations.
