The USGA has recently made a decision on iron grooves that affects all golf club sets being made today. Because of this ruling, all irons and wedges being manufactured after January 1st, 2010 must comply with the new groove limitations. For this reason, many of the current models may not be available for ordering from the manufacturer as they are allowing stock to run out.
Clubs already manufactured before January 1st, 2009 may be sold until January 1st, 2011 and may be legally played by amateur golfers until January 1st, 2014 but are not legal to play at the professional level after January 1st, 2010.
