Checkout Procedures
It is the objective of Mechanics Outlet to provide as seamless a process as you will experience in the eBay Store environment. To ensure you receive the necessary communications from us, please do add mechanics.outlet@mechanicnet.com to your email whitelist.
Once you’ve completed a Buy It Now purchase, eBay will calculate your shipping charges and taxes (if applicable) based on your ship to location. Once payment is received, your items will be pulled from inventory and shipped to you via UPS of FedEx Ground. As a protection to our customers, it is our normal procedure to wait 24 hours before pulling items and shipping them from the warehouse so it gives time for you to cancel an order if it was placed in error. Please add one extra day to expected delivery time for this built in customer protection.
Liquidation Inventory Note: These are liquidation items offered at discounted liquidation prices. By definition liquidation items will be low in inventory and subject to stockouts. In the event of a stockout at the primary location where offered, as an added service, Mechanics Outlet will automatically search for the same part at same price in a secondary location. When our network is exhausted with no identical part found, Mechanics Outlet will cancel the transaction and refund consumer in full. Consumer has option to cancel in the interim if she wishes not to search our network.
Mechanics Outlet accepts PayPal payments exclusively. You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, and American Express through PayPal. PayPal provides the appropriate levels of security to ensure you credit card transaction is safe. PayPal also offers you the first line of defense for dispute resolution.
Sales tax will be collected as appropriate to the laws of the state from which the product is shipped. Currently, Mechanics Outlet will only ship items to the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Shipping
We invite you to use the shipping calculator in each listing to determine the shipping cost. The shipping calculator is a tool from our preferred vendor, UPS, to estimate the cost of shipping the item from the warehouse to your ship to address. The cost of shipping will be collected at the time of checkout in the BuyItNow transaction.
Once item is shipped, you will be notified with the UPS tracking number via email. If you wish to know the status of your package, or expected delivery date, you can go to www.ups.com, enter your tracking number, and see exactly the status of your package. We ship Monday through Friday, excluding all holidays. For packages or individual items damaged in shipment, please contact us by e-mail at mechanics.outlet@mechanicnet.com within 1 business day of receipt. If we are not contacted within 1 business day, we may not be able to file a claim with the carrier in time and, therefore, may not be able to replace the damaged shipment or items. If you believe a package has been lost in shipment, please contact us by e-mail at mechanics.outlet@mechanicnet.com so we can trace the shipment.
We welcome orders from customers in United States and Canada. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions at this time.
Returns, Refunds, Exchanges and Warranties
Please check the item listing description to find out what the return policy and warranty are for that item before you purchase an item. Liquidation items sold at severely discounted liquidation prices on Mechanics Outlet are sold as-is without warranty. Mechanics Outlet is the only manufacture approved online vendor of new ACDelco auto parts sold for liquidation. Buying from Mechanics Outlet will that the product is as represented by the manufacturer.
Automotive parts are specific to vehicle applications. The vehicle applications for any particular part are made available to you on the listing based on manufacture and industry data. Please ensure that you are buying the right part to fit your vehicle. Mechanics Outlet will not accept liability or claims for parts purchased by the consumer for the a wrong vehicle application.
If we make an error in an item listing or if we make an error in fulfilling your order (we ship a part you did not order), please notify customer service at mechanics.outlet@mechanicnet.com. We will ship you the correct item and issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and UPS shipping label to return the incorrect item. If the correct item you ordered is no longer available, we will refund the purchase price, the shipping cost and the return shipping cost.
You must include a copy of the packing list and a note explaining the reason for the return. Please be aware, for any returned item, which at our discretion, shows evidence of having been installed or used contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions or vehicle application, used in violation of any laws or regulations and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging or return shipping, the return will not be eligible for a refund, credit or exchange. If an item(s) is returned that does not comply with this return policy, the return will not be processed.

Mechanics Outlet will not share, or make for sale, consumer personal information. Your personal information will not be shared with anyone outside of our company without your written permission, except where required by law, court order, or subpoena.
