Q: When might I expect my artwork to arrive?
A: Artwork typically ships within five business days of receiving cleared payment. Domestic carriers estimate delivery in 7 to 10 days, international carriers estimate arrival in 6 to 10 business days with delivery dependent upon location and customs timelines.

Q: Do you combine shipments?
A: We prefer to ship hand-painted and embellished artwork in separate packages to ensure safe transit. Artwork must have the same dimensions and required packaging in order to combine pieces.  Most 3, 4, 5, and 7-panel “all-natural silver” wall sculptures can be combined two to a package.  We specify no liability for consequential shipping damage of combined hand-painted or embellished artwork.

Installation

Q: Do these pieces hang separately or do they hang as one piece together?
A: All wall sculptures arrive with a unique-bracket attached to the back of each panel that “pops” the artwork off the wall about 2 inches and allows for each panel to be mounted individually.  Included in every package are easy mounting instructions and a helpful measuring tool guide.  Nails / screws are not included.

Q: Can I hang this artwork outdoors?
A: Jon Allen hand-crafts all his artwork with high-grade, light weight, environmentally friendly aluminum that will not rust or corrode.  The color pieces are hand-painted with an anodized paint and a UV protective clear coat finish. Contact us to add a clear coat finish on the all-natural silver wall sculptures for outdoor display. We do not advise outdoor display for the embellished artwork.

Q: Can I hang these pieces vertically?
A: The unique-style brackets allow for the artwork to be mounted vertically, horizontally, or any other desired angle.

Q: How do I mount or attached this art to the wall?
A: Jon Allen Metal Wall Sculptures are designed to appear floating off the wall. A single bracket mounted to the back of the artwork provides a simple installation of a single nail or screw.

Q: Are the edges of the artwork sharp?
A: No.

Q: What is the actual size of the art?
A: All artwork is measured to include any suggested spacing. The overall size stated in the listing is the “footprint” of the artwork. These are the dimensions you should allocate for placement of your artwork. Refer to specific measurements noted in the listing above. The total height of the free-standing sculptures includes the height of the base.

Q: What is the weight of this artwork?
A: The wall mounted artwork typically weighs between 10 to 15 pounds depending on the number of pieces. Freestanding sculptures range between 15 and 20 pounds relative to the height.

Lighting

Q: What kind of lighting should I use on my artwork?
A: We highly recommend track lighting or overhead recessed lighting with three to five bulbs. Lighting tips and tricks are included in each package.
