Another time, I won a rare Bic pen from an Italian seller. Admittedly, I really wanted the pen (see some of my cool Bic Pen collection on sale in my eBay store). The seller referred me to a confusing Italian Courier Service website to calculate my shipping charges in advance (and in Lira!)After winning I was sent an invoice with ($61) SHIPPING CHARGES to mail the Bic Pen to me.Then the seller had the nerve to ask for ANOTHER 8 EUROS on top of that for "packaging and box."
Thanks for letting me vent. I'm over it. I didn't leave bad feedback for that seller, or any seller. Nor would I ever, EVER leave negative feedback for any of my esteemed customers. But to save time in my volume of auctions, I use eBay's automatic feedback return system. As soon as you leave me positive feedback, the eBay system immediately returns the feedback to you with one of 5 pre-determined phrases.Impersonal, I know, but it keeps everyone happy.By the same token, negative or neutral feedback is also returned in kind.Sorry guys, it's the system.
