About our models…
The craftsmanship is incredible, these are not mass produced with computers and laser cuts. These highly detailed models are cut by hand, assembled and finished.
The craftsmanship is second to none.
As with any works of art, no two will be exactly the same. Minor changes in wood color and grain can also effect the look of the finished item.
Different woods are used on the models, pieces are not stained. You see the natural color and grain of the wood. Hard woods are used for most pieces, each model has a heavy feel that compliments the beauty of the work.
Rosewood and Mahogany are used as the main woods throughout the models with Walnut, Ebony, Hornwood, Blackwood and English Sycamore used for trim and inlay work such as doors, windows, missiles, etc.
The model has three coats of polyurethane applied to the finished model. Giving a high gloss finish.
Each plane and helicopter also comes with a display stand that is also made from hard woods and accents the model.
We include many pictures of each model in our listings, we want you to see the quality of the craftsmanship and the detail work in the models we offer.
All models are in stock and ready to ship. No long waits or delays and we ship at least twice every week. You will have your selection in days not weeks or months.
All models are carefully packed in custom boxes with high density foam. We also add foam and/or tissue to the models prior to shipping.
Our models can be displayed in a home or office, the quality truly makes each a work of art.
Discount Models
We are also adding our discount line to the current selection of display models. The discount models have problems, most are minor and all are explained in detail with accompanying photos of the issues.
The savings are incredible on the discount models!
These are still great models but they are not up to the standards we set for the full price models. Each is unique and the close up photos show the detail for that individual listing.
