These are the steps we perform when servicing your injectors
The first thing we do when your injectors arrive is perform an electrical test.
The next step is to pre-test the injector pattern and flow. This is when we apply system pressure to the injector and check for case leaks, pintle drips, spray pattern and flow volume.
Now we remove the injectors from the flow bench and clean the cases in a heated ultrasonic bath.
Now we strip the soft parts from the injector. Depending on the application we remove the filter, grommet, upper oring, lower oring or seal and the pintle cap. When the injector is ready to clean it's put into the ASNU flow bench's ultrasonic cleaning tank. The injectors are cycled while cleaning to flush out the deposits. You can see the milky discharge from some of the injectors. Thats the solid deposits that are being removed.
Now the injectors are ready to be retested for leaks, pattern irregularities and flow.
We oil the injectors to provide added shelf life for our customers who won't be installing them right away. New service kits are installed with orings, grommets, filters and pintle caps as the application requires.
Nickle injectors are re-polished. Painted injectors are masked and repainted to provide corrosion resistance. Your injectors are now ready to be returned to service. We provide a flow report with each service.
