Dear Friends:

Robert and I got married 22 years ago, had three children and those years together represented a very loving and interesting period of our life together.

Then, on May 19th 2007, terrible news shook up our lives. Robert (who had been experiencing inexplicable aches and pains since 2005) was diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig disease).

We were both devastated and very sad but in the end I can say that the last four, were the most meaningful and loving years of our life together.

The diagnosis prompted us to start a journey, deliberately focused on the re-discovery of our identity and of the purpose of our life, for the remaining time we had, here on earth.

In so doing, many new layers about my husband’s personality were revealed and this was due, mostly, to the decision Robert made to plan the sale of his TREASURES/COLLECTIBLES on E-bay.

I discovered what an incredible sensitive man my husband was by appreciating his love for details and his incredible good taste in the selection of (as an example) those model cars, those antique books
(some from the 1800) post cards from the US and from Europe (Robert lived for five years in Switzerland), old tools, very original musical boxes, paintings, magazines, maps, stamps, etc…

Robert died on July 4th 2009 and that day our love story and our life together on this earth ended but I will forever treasure the special time we spent together enjoying our collectibles.

I am also happy that, thanks to E-bay, I am able to share and bring our collectibles to our friends and neighbors so they too, can appreciate their superior quality at wholesale prices and with friendly and fast customer service.
