Placing Your Bid

Please be aware that your bid is a legal and binding contract. Please do not bid if you are not prepared to pay; this will assist in avoiding any action that we may take against you the bidder. Ask all questions in regards to the item or items you want to purchase before you bid. Non-paying bidders will be left appropriate feedback so please review our policies.

New to eBay

If you are new to eBay and have a '0' feedback profile, we request that you e-mail us and introduce yourself before bidding on high dollar store, auction items over $5,000. We reserve the right to cancel bids from negative or '0' feedback bidders on our listings if there actions cause problems with other online users.

Payment

Payment is expected within 5 days, please insure your intentions for payment on each item purchased in clearly stated in your reply email or payment update status when emailing or requesting specific information regarding terms or otherwise. We will re-list the item or items after 7 days if your payment has not been received or a timeline for payment has not been confirmed by email, telephone or otherwise deemed appropriate in communicating your intent. All sales are final, and only in-store credit will be issued if a refund is necessary. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges and may be subject to a 18% restocking charge and any other warehousing charges.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with an item, you may return it within 14 days of purchase for in store credit. Condition of Item

Please be aware that the items we sell are antiques and not new merchandise unless stated otherwise. Please examine your item or items that you are bidding on. Most antiques will show some wear as they are old and have been used or are just very old. In some instances there might be prior repairs that we are not aware of. We are highly experienced with antiques and antique restoration but make no guarantees on the age or appraised value of the antiques we sell. If we state any age in our description or appraisal, it is correct, to the best of our knowledge. In the unlikely event that an item is damaged in shipping or transport we will repair or replace the item with a similar item. Refunds will only be made if the item has been damaged beyond repair or is deemed to require 40% in repairs of the total overall piece and structure . Refunds will be considered due to repairs that may be needed upon arrival or that where overlooked when the item was in our care. However de-valuing the item or items purchased due to a repair is inappropriate and not a professional restoration practice. In rare occasions an item may be damaged in the warehouse or during packing, if this is the case we will notify you the bidder and replace your item with similar merchandise or give a full refund. Measurements are deemed reliable, but not guaranteed and may vary by a few centimeters.

Item Description

On rare occasions, we do make typographical or clerical errors in our listings. If you believe there is a factual discrepancy, please notify us prior to the end of the auction for clarification and we will investigate the listing. On occasion the need for inside measurements are appropriate such as a bed, desk or armoire. If these measurements are needed at any time or you would like us to re-measure an item please send us a request and we will reply within 24 hrs.

Appraisals or Requests

Appraisals are included with the items only if the client is the buyer and requests a copy at the time of sale. Appraisals can be sent at a later date not to exceed six months for an additional $7.00 to cover handling fees. We have an excellent feedback history and do our best to have a smooth transaction. To help us, please make any special requests at the same time you make your payment. If this is not done, we cannot guarantee your request will be processed due to the high volume of emails and other requests we receive.

Bidding

By bidding, you the bidder, acknowledge you have read and understand all of our terms, conditions, shipping and other verbiage in our auctions and you the bidder agree to follow our policies whether the policies are listed as a link or reference to a web page. Please note that when you place a bid and or win an item these policies listed herein become an actual agreement and binding contract that you the bidder fully accept and agree to have read.
