Currently engagned in raising money for a film on Mother Theresa.This film is already in the process of being edited for U.S. and International release and includes - among other never-before-seen footage - a series of extraordinary interviews with Mother Teresa that contain some of the most personal and self-revealing statements ever made by her on camera.
The film had its beginnings 22 years ago in Calcutta when Mother Teresa requested award-winning film director Leigh Wharton to make a film of the 10 days she asked him to spend in the Mission and to share that film with the world.
The director agreed, the film was shot, but never edited because the negative was "lost" in a New York film valut for 22 years before finally being retrieved.
This archival material has now been digitally restored to its orgiinal condition and is being edited into the 60- minute film.
The director- Leigh Wharton- accidentally met Mother Teresa in Calcutta. he told her he was making a film on ending World Hunger and would like to speak with her about another kind of hunger - the hunger of the soul. She agreed but told him that she had made a rule that no cameras were allowed inside the Calcutta Mission because they upset her "girls". But in his case she would made an exception because he had " been chosen by God"

Examine the worldwide problem of environmental destruction including the unique problems facing third-world countries in their attempt to create sustainable development that does not erode the natural resources on which it depends.
Alert the viewing public to their responsibility for the survival of this planet and toshow by filmic example how this responsibility can be fulfilled in direct and meaningful action.
Distribute - nationally and internationally - motion picture and video productions dealing with global environmental, cultrual, health care and houseing issues to TV networks, schools, colleges, universities, public libraries and other educational and informational outlets. | | | |
