I always state S+H in my auctions and it usually appears as this:

Shipping and Handling on this item will be $$$$....... Insurance is optional for 1.70 extra.
My policy for combine S+H are as follows for U.S. buyers only. S+H will always be the most expensive S+H plus these combine S+H rates on each item.
if S+H is stated as $2.50 - combine ship is $0.75 These are considered "light weight".
if S+H is stated as $2.80-3.10 - combine S+H is $1.00
if S+H is stated as $3.25-4.00 - combine S+H is $1.50
if S+H is stated as $4.01-5.50 - combine S+H is $2.00
if S+H is stated as $6.75 - combine S+H is $3.00
i.e.... If you buy 3 product that is stated as S+H for $6.75, $2.50 and $2.80. Your total S+H will be $8.50.
The above rate chart serves as a GUIDE only. I do discount S+H further when purchasing over 6 auctions or when you purchase heavier items that I can combine ship for less(email for details). I've also been known to ship 1 or 2 of your lightweight items for FREE when you've purchased over 9 auctions from me.
THE EXCEPTION:
For paypal buyers that want combine S+H discounts, please send only one paypal payment for all your purchases within 3 days.
