Domestic Shipping
Shipping Cost and Delivery is something we cannot get away from, and this cost is passed onto our customers; however, we try to be fair by consolidating the "shipping and handling" for all of our customers. When you are purchasing more than one coin (two listings or more), or shopping in our store for multiple items, Do Not Pay any of the generic invoices sent to you by eBay or Pay Pal. Wait until you are completely through shopping or bidding, and then, You Must Ask us for a new total. At that time, we will prepare a new invoice with the consolidated shipping and send it to you for payment.
Calculating the Cost for shipping is not only the cost of the postage and delivery confirmation for tracking your shipment, but the additional cost of the envelopes needed, along with the coin flips and the bubble mailers. It also includes a fee charged by eBay and Pay Pal which is a percentage of of our shipping charges. With this in mind, our realized cost for shipping and handling is more than the minimum shipping fee we are charging for a single coin purchase. However, when you purchase more than one coin from multiple listings, we can bundle them together and you pay only one invoice which lowers our cost with Pay Pal and eBay. The savings from combining the shipping and handling is passed along to our eBay customers.
Our Shipping and Handling Time is "one day handling" and then your parcel is taken personally to our Local U. S. Post Office and deposited with a postal clerk inside the post office. If your order is placed and paid for prior to Noon (Monday thru Friday) it will be mailed out the same day. Normally, our customers receive their parcel within three days, but there are exceptions to every rule and that is why we pay for "Delivery Confirmation and Tracking". When your shipping label is printed out you will automatically receive an email with the tracking number. If you do not receive your parcel, you may track the shipment yourself, or email us for an update. If the parcel gets lost or stolen during the shipping process, we guarantee your money back or we will ship another identical order to you at no additional charge.
Bubble Mailers are the most common way that we ship our coins. These envelopes are padded 4x8 envelopes and are used for shipping our single coin and smaller multiple coin orders. We also use these bubble mailers to protect our mint lens cases, which adds additional protection to the plastic lens case when placed inside another 6x10 envelope when shipping one, two or three to our customers. If larger orders of multiple lens case holders are ordered and shipped at the same time, each lens case is protected by its own bubble mailers and mailed in the appropriate size box (Priority Mail Small or Medium Box, depending on the size of the order).
USPS Priority Mail Boxes and Envelopes are used to accomodate our larger orders and are very convenient and reasonably priced, adding additional protection to our products. In addition, we package all the contents of the box with a combination of bubble mailesr, envelopes and other means to have the shipment protected and organized when it arrives at its destination. This type of shipping is also used when the First Class Weight limit has been exceeded, otherwise we have to use the Parcel Rates which takes up to eight days for delivery, and we would not be in compliance with our standards of shipping with our customers nor eBay. Insuring Coin Shipments is not the best way to ship coins domestically. When we first opened our store on eBay, we insured all parcels over twenty dollars and learned the hard way that it is not the best way to ship coins. After paying hundreds of dollars to USPS for insurance, we finally had to make a claim which was promptly denied by the Postmaster's Office. After a few months of appeals, the Post Office finally paid us the fifty dollars that was the declared value of the lost parcel.
We guarantee the arrival of all domestic shipments; however, we now ship all domestic shipments under $200 with delivery confirmation. All shipments over $200 are with signature confirmation, and over $500 we recommend Registered Mail which takes longer and is a little more expensive, but it is the safest way to ship anywhere. Each registered parcel must be personally signed for by everyone in the Postal Service who handles the parcel before it is received, therefore the process takes more time and delays the arrival of the parcel. When sending silver and collectibles coins through USPS, it is the best security that is available to any seller and the best protection for their customers.
Returns are Accepted if the buyer contacts the seller and expresses his or her desire to return the shipment during the first fourteen days of receiving the shipment. There are no questions asked and the buyer pays for the return shipping of the shipment with delivery confirmation, and in the original packaging. Upon receiving the return of the shipment, the seller will refund the cost of the item (less the original shipping). If the seller makes a grievous mistake, such as mailing the wrong item, we will pay the postage for the return, and refund all the money including the original shipping cost. All credits or refunds are posted directly to your Pay Pal Account and the transaction details we be emailed to you. If payment is made through any other source than Pay Pal, seller and buyer will agree to make other arrangements to refund the money.
Guarantee 100% Satisfaction or Your Money Back if you let us know that you wish to return the item for any reason during the first fourteen days of receiving your shipment. Buyer pays for the return shipping with delivery confirmation and tracking; and upon receiving the coins we give a refund less our shipping charges via Pay Pal. If we make a grievous mistake, or misrepresent what we are selling to you, we will pay for the return shipping and refund all your money including the original shipping charges.
