"A Presale Item" is a listing with a guarantee the item will be available for shipping within 30 days of the purchase date or at the end of any auction. The handling time specified in the listing reflects the time from the end of the listing until the item is shipped to the buyer or winner of any of the actions, but does not include the shipping time by the United States Postal Service.
The United States Mint reserves the right to cancel or postpone any scheduled release date; therefore, if the listing is "A Presale Item" we also reserve the right to cancel the sale, and refund all money by posting a full credit to your Pay Pal Account. Edge Lettering On U.S. Coins started with the Presidential Dollar in 2007. The Presidential Coin Issues have edge lettering on each coin that indicates the date and mintmark from which mint the coin was produced. In addition to the Presidential Coins, issues of the Native American or Sacagawea Dollar Coins also have edge lettering since 2009.
Position B indicates that the edge lettering is readable and facing up towards the obverse side of the coin (heads) and Position A shows the edge lettering is upside down and facing down towards the reverse side of the coin (tails). The position of the lettering does not increase the value of the uncirculated mint coin nor coins minted for circulation. The process for the incused lettering for these coins is a two step process and the exact location of the lettering in relationship to the coin is disregarded by the U.S. Mint during the production of these coins.
However, in regard to the production of the proof coin, the position of the lettering is always Position B and Position A is not possible. The proof coin is a one step process for production and the incused lettering will not vary in relationship to the lettering on the obverse or reverse sides of the coin.
The value of any coin that is missing the lettering will increase the value of the coin, and obscure or doubling of the lettering will also increase the value of a coin.

Great Tool for Searching our store for specific coins. This search browser in located near our store logo, near the top of this listing, and on every listing (including other stores). All you have to do is enter the word "Kennedy" and it will show all the Kennedy Half Dollar listings that we have, or combinations containing a Kennedy coin in the listing. Or, let's say you are looking for "High Grade" coin, just enter MS67 or Proof 70 and all the coins that we have in that category will appear. You can narrow the search by being more specific, such as 2011 S Roosevelt Dime Silver, and if there is one in the store, you will find it with ease. Try It! Another way to search our store, is by using the Store Categories directory which is on the left side of every listing. Just click the category that you are interested in, and it will take you directly to those listing. You may refine your search after you are in that specific store category by using the Search Store tool mentioned above.
Grading and QualityMost of our coins are Uncirculated and/or Proof coins directly from the United States Mint. The uncirculated modern coins that we sell are carefully removed from mint sets or mint rolls, or shipped in their original mint wrapers. Proofs coins are carefully removed from their orginal mint lens case and shipped in a labelled coin flip; and some of the Proof Sets are shipped in their original lens cases directly to you. We do not search and grade any of our coins, so the chances of receiving a very high grade coin or an error coin is possible. If you are looking for very high graded coins, we recommend PCGS or NGC graded coins as these two companies are the leaders in the industry. We make bulk purchases of these coins and offer them to our customers who are looking to complete a highgrade collection.
Storing the Coins to maintain the high quality mint state in which we receive them is important. All of our proof coins from the recent years are kept in their original lens proof holder until the coin is ordered, and then carefully removed and shipped to you. All of our uncirculated coins from the recent years are kept in their original uncirculated mint wrappers until ordered, and the carefully removed (or not) and then shipped to you. These coins are kept in a climate controlled environment, inside a custom coin cabinet designed to hold these coins in their mint holders and wrappers.
Returns are Accepted if the buyer contacts the seller and expresses his or her desire to return the shipment during the first fourteen days of receiving the shipment. There are no questions asked and the buyer pays for the return shipping of the shipment with delivery confirmation, and in the original packaging. Upon receiving the return of the shipment, the seller will refund the cost of the item (less the original shipping). If the seller makes a grievous mistake, such as mailing the wrong item, we will pay the postage for the return, and refund all the money including the original shipping cost.
