Read only if you really want to know why I have 2 negative feedbacks. If you are content to say 'well, sometimes things just don't work out' and still trust Next Step to not screw you over, don't waste your time reading this.
If any seller reads this, ever, please learn a lesson from my misfortune.
1. Don't ship to people some cheap rate international rate as a favor, ever.
I run probably the most ridiculously honest ship, ever. I've even given folks their money back when they were completely in the wrong, honestly because I'm a nice guy who wants people to have a really positive experience.
I've gotten 2 negative feedbacks, ever - amazingly, both from buyers with under 25 feedback, and both from buyers who don't live in the US. Coincidence?

He says:
after 1 month, still no shoes, tracking number suggests box never given to usps
First of all, lets be honest and truthful here. The item was bought less than a month before that comment was made, and even then he didnt pay for another 6 days. He then proceeded to complain about the shipping cost, so as a favor, I used a lower USPS shipping method I swore I wouldnt ever use again, because I lost one package before. I dutifully shipped the item out the very next day. On USPS Priority International shipping, it says 'expect 8 - 12 business days' - this buyer was harassing me before that period was even up. Even now, its been up by perhaps 1 day. I've had literally no time to respond - anyone that has ever had a claim with USPS knows it takes some time. I now face a negative feedback for all the world to see (I consider it an eyesore) and a claim which USPS will probably clear up in about 60 days. Additionally, USPS doesn't update their tracking numbers every day like UPS, so there isnt any way his package would say anything other than what tracking it says. Would it really make sense for me to randomly decide to not ship things? Seriously. I've had disagreements with a couple folks over various matters, but never to the point where my integrity as a seller was in question. USPS International has either lost the package or delayed it to the point where I as a seller am penalized. I can do just about....nothing. It just sucks.
I hope anyone reading this can see how angry I am, just to get a single bad feedback. Look at all the rest of them....can you see how hard I am working to make your experience amazing?
I'll end here. I just hope that anyone doubting the integrity of Next Step can read this and see that the folks running it care, so much that they are personally offended by things of this nature. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to let me know.
