WHAT ELSE CAN I USE IT FOR?

I figure that my average shopper for my store is a lot like me.  We don't buy a lot on impulse, well once in a while, maybe.  :)  If we are going to make a purchase, we usually think about it carefully.  I know when I purchase something for my kitchen, I like to make sure that I am going to use it, and not just have it take up space on my counter or in my cupboard.

So, this page is going to be "what else can I use it for?"  If I have found different uses for my store items, I'm going to list them here.  If you have purchased something from me or have an item I carry in my store and found a great use for it, please let me know and I'll add it to this list.

(I'll also give you credit for it using your ebay ID if you would like)

Please share your great ideas with the ebay world!!!  :)

1.  8 QT. Pasta Steamer Cooker:  This has worked out great for draining cooked hamburger.  After I pan fry it, usually in my paella pan because it's my favorite, I pour it into the pasta cooker, and let it drain.  It's neater because you don't have the spatter if you use a regular colander.

2.  8 QT. Pasta Steamer Cooker:  I've been using the steamer part to steam fish lately, and it's so tender.

3.   8 QT. Pasta Steamer Cooker:  I also use this to soak my eggplant to take out the bitterness.  I put the sliced eggplant in salted water in the cooker, and put the pasta insert  on top of the eggplant.  The pasta insert keeps the eggplant from floating and in the water.  The last batch of stuffed eggplant I made was great!!  (yeah, I know, you have to be italian to love eggplant, but I am and do.. )  :)

4.  Cast Iron Porcelain Enamel Paella Pan:  You know, I still have not used this pan for paella, but I use it for everything else.  It's my favorite skillet.  It is just great for breakfast, bacon and eggs, sausage, french toast, etc.  It has such a large cooking surface, that I use it for cooking pork chops or sauting chicken breasts, then putting BBQ sauce on them.. It's great for baking in the oven, and its attractive when you take it out of the oven.  The inside is a matte, not shiny enamel finish.  It looks like it should be non stick, but it's not.  I always give it a quick spray with something like Pam before I use it.

5.  7 QT. Stainless Steel Chicken Fryer: This is a great size pan.  And I use it to bake in constantly.  It's also a perfect chicken baker pan.  I've cooked small hams, turkey breasts, and also used it for baked spaghetti.  You can't use it above 350 degrees, but isnt that the tempature you use the most?  It is for me.  :)

6.  The Thermos Flask:  I take this puppy with me a lot.  It's perfect for diet hot chocolate at work in the winter, or to keep extra coffee hot.  I also take it to the beach sometimes when we go watch the sunset, and I might put a grownup drink in it, like a margarita.  (of course, non alcoholic, as I try to look innocent.)  :)

7.  The Pasta Machine:  It's great for pasta, but also for so many things,  pastry dough for cookies, dough for pieroghies.  It is also good for flattening small refrigerator dinner rolls.  (you do need to flour them first so they don't stick in the machine.  The flattened rolls can be used for appetizers, put whatever kind of filling you want, fold them over, seal them with your fingertips and bake them.
