The accurate, precision work required of small end mills and
cutters is possible only through the use of good tools properly
ground. It is for this type of work that the GORTON 375-3
Cutter Grinder was designed. It represents the utmost in
efficiency and simplicity for small cutter grinding.

CUTTING REQUIREMENTS . . . to get the best results from
small tools, they must be carefully chosen, operated at the
proper speeds and be properly ground. All three are necessary.
FEATURES . . . the 375-3 Cutter Grinder is a modern precision
grinder, compact and rigidly built of the best materials.
Completely ball bearing equipped; all bearings dustproof,
running in oil. Simple, positive adjustments for wear
are provided at all vital points.
The highly practical, money-saving single flute cutters cannot
be ground properly on ordinary cutter grinders. For this
reason it is important that one of these 375-3 grinders be
used with GORTON Super-Speed Milling Machines, Duplicators
and Pantographs. Speed and precision result in savings
which quickly offset cost.

WHAT THE 375-3 WILL DO
The 375-3 GORTON Cutter Grinder will grind any single
flute cutter up to 5/8 " diameter shank. It will also grind fluted
cutters. By using diamond impregnated wheels (interchangeable
with standard wheels) , carbide cutters may be ground
to any of these shapes and sizes.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
SPINDLE: Cartridge type, accommodates 1264-1 Adapter for
wheels with 7A " hole (see Accessories Price List), quickly
removable as a unit . . . super-precision ball bearings . . . oil
filter . . . dust seals. Mounts 6" grinding wheels or diamond
impregnated wheels.
DRIVE: V-belt from standard H.P., 1725 R.P.M. horizontal
motor . . . dynamically balanced . . . on vibrationless rubber
mounts. All completely enclosed in base . . . readily

TOOL HEAD SUPPORT: Sliding telescope sleeve, completely
shielded . . . dust-proof . . . lubricated from central oil reservoir.
Carries ball bearing counterbalanced base with hardened
taper stud for attaching tool head. Provides for right or
left-hand feed by operator to wheel. Can be clamped in any
position.
