Our Packaging    

Our first concern is to pack your order carefully so it arrives at its destination undamaged.  Our second goal is to save you shipping charges. 

The majority of our orders are first placed inside a waterproof bag to protect them from the elements. 

An order's shipping rate is largely dependant upon its weight.  Whenever possible we use fashion mailers, also known as Tyveks, because they are super light weight & also importantly, waterproof.  The white & blue USPS Priority Mail Boxes add approx. 6 oz. to the weight of the order which can make the difference of about $1.00 more than a Tyvek.  They have also been known to allow odors, such as smoke, to enter the package & if they by chance get wet the blue dye can damage the item.  When we do use a Priority box we place the clothing item in a plastic bag first to protect it against this possibility & tape every edge to protect the item from odors.  If you choose Priority Mail and a box puts your order into the next shipping bracket we will use a Priority Tyvek to save you money whenever possible. 

If you prefer a box to a Tyvek please e-mail in case we need to adjust your invoice to reflect the different shipping cost. 

We ship single book orders in a shallow box, padded envelope or Tyvek mailer.  If a larger number of books are being shipped we find the best fitting box & pad it with bubble wrap or newspaper to protect against damage in transit.

Shoes are shipped in a box secured with clear mailing tape. 

Bulky orders are shipped in the box that most closely fits the item yet allows for padding to protect against damage in transit.  

Along with your order you will receive a business card with our store name so you can visit us again in the future & recommend us to your family & friends. 

Shipping Times and Rates

We do our best to ship orders on a daily basis with the exception of U.S. Government holidays & Sundays when the Post Office is closed.  

All our buyers are eligible for a shipping discount by paying for multiple purchases on one invoice & having them all shipped to the same location.

When rating our shipping speed please keep in mind that your order's delivery time is based on many items that are out of our control.  We print your shipping label & get your package to the post office within 24 hours of your Pay Pal payment as long as the USPS is open for business. 

Your package's shipping TIME will depend upon:

• when you complete your payment
• which shipping method you choose on your invoice
• the weight of the item
• & your location

     Domestic USPS Rate Info    

Each of our listings are calculated by weight using the eBay Domestic shipping calculator based on United States Postal Service rates.  If this feature is not working you will be able to enter your zip code at the bottom of the page to see the shipping options available to you on that item & the corresponding rates. 

• Priority Mail has a 2-5 day delivery time.
• Parcel Post has a delivery time of 7-10 days and is the least expensive form of shipping for non-media items over 14 oz.
• First Class Mail is the least expensive form of shipping for non-breakable items weighing less than 14 oz. with a delivery time of approx. 3-5 days.
• Media Mail is the least expensive form of shipping & is ONLY available for books, magazines, CDs, Cassette tapes, DVDs, VHS tapes with a delivery time of 7-10 days.
• If you purchase a clothing item in addition to a book you can choose to have them shipped separately or use Parcel Post to have them shipped together, it is against the law to use Media Mail to ship clothing, toys, shoes, etc. because it is only for books, magazines & movies.

International buyers - Buy with confidence!

I have shipped merchandise to Germany, Australia, Finland, Japan, Taiwan, UK Great Britain, Italy & Canada with no problems.

Good news!  E-bay's shipping calculator now works Internationally.  Just select your country and the calculator will give you the shipping cost including handling for that individual item.

International packages weighing less than 4 lbs. will be sent via USPS First Class International Mail or Global Priority Mail if you choose to upgrade.

International packages weighing more than 4 lbs. will be sent via Global Priority Mail (or Global Express Mail if you choose to upgrade).

The only International shipment rate that is trackable is Global Express Guaranteed which is the quickest & most expensive form of International shipping.

Insurance on International shipments is only available through International Priority Mail or International Express Mail rates.

     Local Pick Up Available    

If you live in the metro-Phoenix, Arizona area (or the family receiving this item does) you may consider choosing a public place to pick up your package to reduce the shipping fee.  Contact me if you'd like to find out if that option is available for your purchase(s).

     Gift Wrap Available    

If you would like to purchase an item as a gift you may choose an option below for an additional $2.00.  Just let me know what the occasion is so I know what kind of paper to use.

• gift wrap and ship directly to a gift recipient's home
• include a gift bag tissue paper for you to use yourself

Payment Methods

The fastest payment method is to use your credit card or remaining balance on Pay Pal.   

You can also pay with a Pay Pal "e-check" (electronic check) which transfers the payment from your checking account to my Pay Pal account.  However, there is a wait period of 3-5 BUSINESS days for checks to clear via the e-check process. 

In order to secure your order please make sure you make your payment within 7 days of your auction's end or store purchase. 

There is no fee associated with making payments with Pay Pal (but seller's are charged a fee to receive your funds). 

Note - As of Oct. 2008 eBay no longer allows sellers to accept payment by check, cashier’s check, or money order for most eBay purchases.
