  • Do you do ring sizing before shipping and if so, how much?
Yes, we do sizing for FREE (if applicable) Up or Down 2 sizes from the stated auction size in increments of 1/4.  If additional sizing is required, please contact us for pricing.  Full eternity bands are made to order and cannot be resized due to the fact the stones go completely around the ring.
  • Are your rings available in 14K, 18K or Platinum?
Most rings can be made to your desired metal color, either white, yellow or platinum.  Please check with us before ordering to confirm that the style you want is available.
  • Do you do custom designs or make other rings not listed?
Yes, we have been in the jewelry trade for over 22 years and have 1000's of designs ready to cast.  We are a full manufacturing facility and can design almost anything from scratch.  If you see an item you like elsewhere, send us a link or picture and we can quote you immediately.
  • Are the pictures of your items the actual item?
Yes, we photograph each item ourselves and they are the actual item.  We do not use stock photos or images from other parties.  We photograph actual Moissanite jewel or others were specified, we do not substitute other stones such as Cubic Zirconia (CZ) or Russian Simulants.  When looking at a picture in an auction you can see the table (top of the stone) has a small look like a nail or you can see any imperfections in the jewel, this is not a Moissanite.
  • Do you have a physical store location where we can see the items?
Sorry, we only sell on ebay to keep our prices competitive while providing unmatched service and products.
  • Is Moissanite a simulated diamond or a diamond substitute?
No, Moissanite is a near-colorless jewel made from silicon carbide (SiC) that was originally discovered in its natural state in the Canyon Diablo meteor crater located in Arizona.
  • What shapes do Moissanite come in?
The Round Brilliant cut is the most popular and has the most brilliance.  Other cuts are available such as Cushion, Heart, Marquise, Octagon, Oval, Pear, Princess, Radiant, Square Brilliant, Triangle, and Trillion.
  • Why is Moissanite sold by millimeter (MM) and not by carat weight?
In order to fit available settings, it is easier for jewelry manufacturers to order Moissanite by millimeter.  The specific gravity of Moissanite is 3.21 grams per cubic centimeter, so a 6.5mm Round Brilliant Moissanite jewel is approximately 0.87 carats.  Thus, Moissanite weighs less diamonds but are the same in diameter for their respective sizes.  So, if you take a jewel to a jeweler and they weigh the stone do not be confused as to the weight, the jewel should be measured with a millimeter gauge for correct sizing.
  • Are your stones authentic Moissanite and do they come with a guarantee?
Absolutely, the material is patented so all our stones are 100% genuine Charles & Colvard Moissanite and come with the Limited Warranty Card and Certificate of Authenticity.  Moissanite is manufactured through a patented thermal growing process, the specifics of which are proprietary.
  • As Moissanite jewels get older to they lose their color, brilliance or fade?
No, the jewels manufactured properties are guaranteed against this type of problem and Charles & Colvard provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty that every created jewel will maintain its brilliance and fire for the lifetime of the owner.
  • Are your jewels seconds, imperfect, old stock or off-color?
There is no such thing as an imperfect or second Moissanite jewel.  There is only one manufacture and sole global source of Moissanite and it is Charles & Colvard (www.moissanite.com).  All Moissanite jewels are produced within exacting specifications and high quality control standard of "H-J" in color and "VS" or better in clarity compared to a diamond.  As for old stock, not that this would be a problem, we move such a large volume of jewels that no stone is more than a month old.
  • When will my order ship?
Generally all items will ship within (48) hours after payment has been received and cleared.  Special order items generally take (10-14) days to ship.
  • What is your preferred DOMESTIC shipping method?
All domestic items are shipped via UPS (United Parcel Service) and are insured for the full purchase price.  UPS required a valid address and does not ship to P.O. Boxes.  We do make exceptions if necessary and will ship via US Postal Service Insured, if contacted prior to purchasing.
  • What is your preferred INTERNATIONAL shipping method?
All International items are shipped via U.S. Postal Service and are insured for the full purchase price.  We are not responsible for any VAT, Taxes, Duties or Customs fees imposed.
  • Can you expedite shipping overnight, 2nd Day, etc..
Yes, we can accommodate your shipping requirements for an additional fee.  Please contact us prior to purchasing your item.

  • Do Moissanite really test as a diamond?
Yes, they have created a tester to determine if a jewel is Moissanite or diamond.   Most experienced jewelers can look at a stone with a 10X loop and determine if a jewel is a Moissanite or diamond, primarily based on the fact Moissanite is "double refractive".  The tester used to distinguish a Moissanite is the Tester Model 590.
  • Are there any special care instructions in regards to cleaning Moissanite jewels?
The jewel is extremely durable as it is only second at 9.25 on the Mohs Hardness Scale, compared to a diamond that is a 10.  Please remember as with any jewel they can chip or get damaged without the proper care.  When cleaning the jewel, you should treat it as a you would a diamond.  You can simply place your jewelry in any off the shelf jewelry cleaner/solution or just soak it in a cup of Windex.  Do not using anything abrasive such as toothpaste and a toothbrush.
