A SCENTSATIONAL GLASS CHRISTMAS GIFT!
I'm sure everyone has an old cologne or a cruet or a decanter that has lost it's stopper. I know I have a few!
Well, I have a great Christmas Gift Idea!!
Buy some really good Essential or Perfume oils (links below) of your choice and put it in a small bottle. Candle making oils work perfect for this!
Get some bamboo skewers (or if small, toothpicks will work) and tie a pretty bow on your bottle or decanter. Put the skewers or toothpicks (not colored) with the bottle of oil and your bottle and put in a pretty box with tissue paper.
The recipient puts the oil in the container and the skewers in the top. After 24 hours the skewers will wick the oil up into the wood and make a great diffusing scent in the room.
A great way to use your pieces and the oil won't bother them like water does. I've had a lavender bottle in my shop for several weeks and it smells so great!
