Terms of Sale for Ohio Pottery & Glassware
Auction Payment Methods:
Our shop is a Verified Merchant
Business account with Paypal, which means you can pay by your favorite
credit card through Paypal. Money Orders and Cashier's Checks will ship
on next ship day (normally 2 days each week) without hold. I will accept
personal checks, but will not ship until they have cleared the bank.
This may take up to 2 weeks.

After Your Purchase: As eBay is my business and my primary
income I can usually be found babysitting my auctions up through the end
of the auction. I will send you an invoice, usually immediately. I am
also here at my computer 99% of the time to answer any last minute
questions. After you have won your item, I expect that you will
communicate with me within 24 hours. If you are mailing a check or money
order, please let me know. Communication is very important! I value my
customers very highly and hope they will value my business as well! |

Shipping and Handling Policy & Costs: Buyer pays for
shipping, handling and insurance. Use the postal calculator located at
the bottom of this page to determine your shipping costs! PLEASE
NOTE!! There is an additional 50 cent surcharge for Parcel Post which is
added at the end to help defray the cost of the box and delivery
confirmation.
I usually ship USPS. I ship Priority
and Parcel Post within the USA. |

Packing:
I use all new boxes, bubble wrap, styro pellets and mark each and every fragile box with several Fragile and "do not drop or crush" stickers. I do not double box unless requested. I certainly will double box upon request for an additional fee (cost of boxes). Just ask! If your item arrives with damage, contact me immediately and I will help you with any necessary claim forms or paperwork. This happens very rarely, but in reality, no matter how carefully something is packaged, rough handling can cause damage. To see how I package your fragile items, please look here:

Returns: If you receive your item and it is not what
has been represented with both text and photos, you may ask for a refund
of the purchase price within 3 days of delivery. You MUST contact me
first. Refund will not be made for shipping costs.

International buyers: I love my International Customers!
Approximately 25% of my business is done outside of the United States. I
do NOT charge any extra handling fees for International customers. I
also have 24 years experience in the International Shipping Industry and
know how to prepare your shipment to get it there in the most expedient
way. I do NOT do surface mail, however. International Priority Mail and
International First Class Mail are offered when I can. International
First Class Mail is only offered for items weighing under 4 pounds.
International Priority
has Insurance added in on most shipments. International First Class Mail
has NO insurance and no way to add insurance.
I routinely
ship anywhere in the world, but I must be paid in US Funds through
Paypal I will not accept other funds on International shipments. |
| Photographs:
For larger photos or more information, please email me and I will be
more than happy to help you! Once you have made a purchase through
winning an auction or Buy It Now option, I will, upon request, send you
the full sized photos of your item so you will have this for your
homeowner's insurance purposes. Just send me an email separate from your
payment and request the photos. I'll be happy to send them on. Many
times I take 6 or more photos of the item before listing it. This is a
great way to protect your investment! |
