Q: Do you ship internationally?

Most items are shipped worldwide. Please check listing for details. If international shipping is not noted in listing, and the item is not overly large, heavy, or fragile, it may be an error. In that case, please send an email inquiry to oldhousedecor@aol.com.

Q: Do you combine shipping?
Definitely! We love to combine shipping whenever possible - And the savings can be substantial! (We just ask that you let us know you are still buying.) Plus, if actual postage on any purchase is significantly less than our estimate or eBay's calculations, we will refund the difference to the buyer within 24 hours of shipping. (If actual cost is more, we absorb it.)

Q: Do you send samples or swatches?

We are sorry but, except in rare cases we are not able to send samples. There are three basic reasons for this:

1) by the time you receive it the auction may be over or someone else may have purchased the item, or
2) it may be a unique piece of fabric or wallpaper that we cannot cut because we have listed the exact amount we have and to cut samples would shortchange the buyer.
3) We are currently receiving a minimum of 20 requests per day for samples and we do not have the staff, time, or stock to fill them.

However, we do understand the importance of color accuracy for matching, so upon request we will match colors to swatches in the On-line Auction Color Chart (OAC) for you. As our feedback indicates, our customers find that to be an excellent solution and an optimal tool for color matching.

As a service to our customers, The OAC is available in our store at our cost. Thank you for your understanding.

Q: Do you know the manufacturer/content/age/pattern name of item?
All of the information we have is in the listing. If it is not included, we either do not have it or have agreed, for example, not to divulge a manufacturer's name so we can bring you the best possible price. If we have an (educated) guess, but are not sure, we will include what we think the content, brand, age, or pattern is in the listing, and will indicate that it is our opinion.

Q: Will you accept a best offer on an item?
It never hurts to ask...but please realize that your ''BEST Offer'' should be just that. We are happy to consider offers that are Reasonable. (Please do not waste our time or yours with frivolous low-ball offers. We sell most of our items with a low profit margin and it is insulting to be offered pennies on the dollar.) If an item is recently listed, ''reasonable'' is probably no more than 10-15% less than our asking price. If an item has run for a long time, we will consider lower offers (25-35% less than asking price). If your offer is in the ballpark, but not accepted, please consider it an invitation to submit a higher bid. If your offer is close to our bottom line, but a bit too low, we will make ONE counter offer. If you absolutely love one of our items but it is too far beyond your budget, please send us an email message via eBay messages or directly to oldhousedecor@aol.com. Perhaps we can list a smaller quantity or suggest and list a similar item that is less expensive. We want to work with you, but we cannot sell diamonds at cut glass prices. Thank you for your understanding and please bid responsibly.

Q: When can I expect my order to arrive?

We ship 95% of all purchases within one business day. Occasionally a UPS shipment may take two business days. Shipping method and distance need to be considered in determining delivery date. For example, delivery can range from 1-2 days (express & priority shipping) to 7-10 days (UPS ground/USPS parcel post) to U.S. addresses to 1-2 weeks (media mail).

Q: What is your return/refund policy?
Sales are final unless there is an error in the description or other extenuating circumstances. All returns are subject to prior approval and must bereturned within 3 days of receipt, fully insured, in original conditionand packaging, at buyer's expense. Shipping/handling fees are notrefundable.
We charge a modest restocking fee (20% under $100.00; 15% Above $100.00) to cover our costs in processing returns, including bookkeeping, relisting, and fees not reimbursed by eBay or Paypal.

Important Information About Our Listings

As Decorators/Designers/Consultants, we do have private clients, but unlike some sellers,
WE WILL NEVER END AN AUCTION or FIXED PRICE LISTING EARLY
so a private client can purchase a listed item ahead of Ebayers. However, should a private client
want to purchase a listed item that ends without a bidder, we WILL NOT RE-LIST it, but will sell it privately.
We reserve the right to end store listings after they have run for 10 days, but we will not end one before that.
