Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I measure for the right size of a tree skirt?
A: You want the skirt to at least be big enough to cover the tree stand beneath, but not wider than width of the bottom branches. I prefer to have the tree skirt measure as close as possible to the width of the bottom branches.
Q: Where to purchase pillow inserts/forms?
A: Pillow inserts can be purchsed at craft stores such as Joann's at the store or online. Even Ebay has sellers of pillow inserts of many sizes.
Q: When can I expect my order to be shipped?
A: Items are handcrafted by me and are made once ordered and cleared payment is received, so please allow up to 15 days for completion. Once your order has been mailed you will receive a confirmation email from the USPS.
 Q: Do you combine shipping?
A: Yes, I do. Combined shipping is based on the items total weight, please wait for an invoice from me before paying.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Item must be returned within 14 Days in original condition: Refund will be given as Money Back minus shipping costs. Please contact me before returning. However, no returns are accepted on custom made item.
 Q: What is homespun fabric?
A: Originally, these fabrics were woven by hand, and had a loose weave and a rough texture. Now, this term is also used for other fabrics that imitate the homespun rustic look. They usually come in plaids, but can be found in solid colors as well. It has no right or wrong side unlike cotton print fabrics.
 Q: What is tea dyed?
A: Tea dyeing gives items a warm, aged, primitive look by soaking the item in a tea bath. Multiple washings will only fade the tea dye slightly. So it does last a long time.
Q: What are the care instructions?
A: Machine wash and dry on delicate or line dry. Iron on medium setting. Use spray starch for a crisp look. I have washed tea-stained items several times with only a slight fading of the tea-stain.
Q: Do you do custom orders?
A: Yes, I do, contact me for details. However, no returns are accepted for custom made items.
Q: What size of bar does the hanging sleeve fit?
A: The hanging sleeve with fit a 1 1/2 x 3/4 inch bar or larger, but that size is the usual measurement used for quilt hangers. As far as the dowel up to 2 inches, but smaller is recommended so that it will hang nicely.
