Once upon a Shoe, that is how it all started...I am from Germany and love to visit the Old Country now and then. Since I am always shopping for Birkenstock shoes at their factory while there, my cousin suggested to buy a few extras to sell here in the USA. So that is what I have been doing for the past 6 years. Trying to buy as many as cheap as possible to pass on the savings to my customers. And I have been saving the little extra income and buying my airline ticket with it and also this here OMA spoils her five Grand Kids every chance she gets. That works out wunderbar since I am now a retired nurse on a fixed income
