Shipping and Handling Charges
This is a discussion of what I charge for Shipping and Handling and what you get for that price. Please note that these are shipping AND HANDLING charges, just like every seed company that you have ordered seeds from, there is a handling charge built into all my Shipping and Handling; it is not just postage.
If you have ever sold on Ebay before, you know there are many expenses involved in listing, selling and shipping products that have nothing to do with how much postage is and I do try to cover these fees by including a handling fee within my Shipping and Handling fees. If you haven't ever sold on Ebay, then you'll have to trust me that there are numerous other expenses over and above the stamp you see on the package. If I can't cover these expenses and make a little money, then there is simply no sense in my spending time selling things on Ebay. If you disagree with how I charge my Shipping and Handling fees, then please don't purchase from me.
I believe that the products I offer are at least as good as any that you will get from any of the big seed companies or any other individual selling on Ebay - often, what you get from me is BETTER - why?

I ship orders out FAST - seed orders are generally shipped within ONE BUSINESS DAY of receipt of payment. Plants are shipped the next plant shipping day after receipt of payment (plants are shipped primarily on Monday's and Tuesday's only to avoid the possibility of a weekend stay at the post office; on some occasions I ship plants on Wednesday's as well). There's no waiting WEEKS to get your seeds; you will have them as fast as the post office can delivery them to you.

I will answer your questions in a timely manner, usually the same day. All questions are welcome and, since I have actually GROWN these myself, I can answer from experience.

You will get what you pay for AND MORE from me. If I say there are 5+ seeds in a pack, then you can be assured that you will get 6, 7 or even 8 seeds. I don't skimp on the quantity of seeds you will get what you pay for and more!

I send quality seeds. Because I hand pick and hand count and hand pack all of my seeds, I cull out any that appear to be mis-shappen or malformed and that I feel will probably not germinate. How many seeds have you gotten from big seed companies that you can look at and tell they will not come up - I've gotten lots of them and I simply won't mail seeds like that. Except for extremely small seeds, I don't sell by the ounce or MG or anything like that - I ACTUALLY count and LOOK AT each and every seed that goes into my seed packs.
I guarantee your satisfaction with my products. If you aren't happy with ANYTHING you buy from me, let me know. We'll work out a replacement, refund or return that will make sure that you are satisfied.
My Shipping and Handling fee for MOST seeds packs to the USA is a FLAT $3.00 for an UNLIMITED NUMBER OF PACKS (rate differs for extremely heavy seeds and for shipping to other countries). This means, if you buy one, it is still a $3.00 S&H fee, if you buy 20, it is a $3.00 S&H fee. So, the S&H fee per pack is completely up to you and how many packs you purchase. Now, let's compare that to some of the big companies in the seed business:

Wayside Gardens minimum fee $6.95
Burpee minimum fee $3.95
Seed Savers Exchange minimum fee $3.00
Stokes Seeds minimum fee $6.95
Harris Seeds minimum fee $3.50
Keep in mind these are MINIMUM FEES - as the amount you buy goes up, so does the fee! When you buy from me, not only do you get a product and service that I feel equals or exceeds any of these companies, my fee for shipping seeds does not go up as you purchase more (although purchasing additional plants from me does incur additional fees due to the increased weight).
Most seeds ship FREE when combined with a plant purchase. Shipping and Handling on plants is calculated based on the SHIPPING WEIGHT of the item and your zip code. In addition to the actual postage, there is generally a handling fee added into the fee you see, depending on the plant, ranging from $1.00 - $2.00. If you are combining several plants in one order, PLEASE EMAIL ME for the correct shipping, as Ebay tends to overcharge when trying to combine the shipping based on weight. BUT, you say, there are other sellers on Ebay that don't charge a 'handling' fee and don't charge this much for shipping seeds. To that, I say, you get what you pay for. Again, if you think I charge too much or disagree with any of my terms of sale, PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE FROM ME.
Lastly, keep in mind that these shipping and handling charges/discounts discussed above apply ONLY if you are the winning bidder on more than one auction within 7 days and you make one payment for all auctions at once and all auctions are being shipped to the same address. BECAUSE OF THE FEES THAT PAYPAL CHARGES, MAKING MORE THAN ONE PAYPAL PAYMENT MAKES YOUR PURCHASES INELIGIBLE FOR COMBINED SHIPPING DISCOUNTS! BE SURE TO COMBINE ALL AUCTIONS AND MAKE ONE PAYMENT. If you aren't sure how to do this, please email me so I can walk you through it and send you a combined invoice.
If you are combining shipping on seeds that have different shipping costs, the HIGHEST shipping cost will be charged FIRST.
If there is any discrepancy between the prices quoted here and the prices on a specific auction, the price on the auction page takes precedence. See each individual Auction for the Shipping & Handling fees for that item.
International (including Canadian) Buyers are responsible for all duties, tariffs and taxes imposed on the importation of these seeds. Please make sure that there is no restriction on the importation of these seeds into your country prior to bidding. Fees quoted are for USPS International parcel post/air mail.
