This era saw a greater distribution of publications, and many are quite common. But there were also a lot of items that are as rare as any in the history of the society. This is the perfect place to find that book you're missing, or to explore those bits of history you never even heard of! (But you should know- if you're looking for current items, you won't find them here. We don't sell what should be given free. We deal only in antiques.)

A Quick Guide to Rutherford’s Publications…
Most Historic: The real history of this era was related to the changes in the organization. Publications like Organizational Instructions and new bible study aids like Let God Be True completely revolutionized the preaching and teaching work. Some of these books are highly valued out of pure sentimentality!
Books and Booklets: When Rutherford died, the practice of printing the writer’s name inside the book was stopped. But one precedent he started would continue: at least one book was commonly released every year. So there is no shortage of variety in the years leading up to our modern era.
Conventions: Whenever I think of this era I think of big conventions. In fact, places like Polo Grounds and Yankee Stadium became more familiar to Jehovah’s Witnesses then the sports teams that frequented there. Years like 1950, 1953 and 1963 set record after record in attendance, baptisms, and don’t forget the new releases. It was in this era that the New World Translation, the Awake magazine and the present format of The Watchtower appeared.
