2. Will I receive an appraisal certificate with my purchase?
Yes! All Diamond Engagement rings will come with an appraisal certificate FREE of charge. Diamond Stud Earrings and Diamond Tennis Bracelets will also come with a FEE appraisal certificate. The appraisal certificate that accompanies the merchandise is from an INDEPENDENT appraisal laboratory. Each piece is examined by a GIA graduate gemologist, and is truly an unbiased independent professional opinion. Every certificate includes detailed information about the 4 important characteristics of a diamond (the 4 C's): color, cut, clarity and carat weight, as well as a picture of the item and its appraisal value. If you purchased an item that does not fall under the aforementioned categories, an appraisal card will not automatically be sent upon purchase. Each customer can purchase an independent appraisal card for a fee of $30 however this fee is non-refundable. All items for sale are brand NEW, never used or worn.

4. Why are you prices so low compared to retail stores?

In the rare event we make a mistake while typing an ad, please always look at the appraisal as this information is always accurate. We are responsible to send you exact ring on appraisal card with appraised specifications and are not responsible for errors listed in ad. If the actual picture of the appraisal card is not provided, or you have additional questions or concerns please don't hesitate to Contact Us. Furthermore, in the rare case that a particular item was sold and is no longer in stock (as our inventory turns over very quickly), you will be contacted by a company representative. If this happens, we will find a solution to meet your satisfaction. Ultimately we do reserve the right not to provide the item or be liable for it in anyway. 7. What are your business hours?
Standard business hours are 10am - 6pm EST., Monday through Friday. It is best to try and contact someone between these hours. During the holidays, business hours are subject to change. Please note: appointments to view merchandise outside of normal business hours can sometimes be accommodated if contacted during the business week. See our FAQ regarding appointments.

8. Can we purchase the ring at your store?
You are welcome to make an appointment to view merchandise for purchase in our 5th Avenue showroom, however please keep in mind that all sales made in our showroom are subject to NY Sales Tax. Items shipped outside of New York are exempt from this tax.

9. How can we make an appointment?
Please Contact Us at 212.230.1616 to set up an appointment in our 5th Avenue Showroom AT LEAST 24 business hours prior to when you would like to come in. Appointments to view merchandise can be held during non-business hours, however you MUST call to set up an appointment during standard business hours. While appointments on the weekend are limited, we may be able to accommodate you if you call during the business week! 10. Can we request additional images of your items?
While we welcome additional image requests, we often cannot always accommodate the demand for additional images. If additional images are available, it may take up to 48 business hours to receive. Again though, we cannot accommodate all requests. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

11. What is your return policy?

Items must not show signs of any wear and tear upon return for a full refund.NO Restocking Fee within 7 days. Returns After 7 Days:

Returns will NOT be accepted after the stated 7 day return policy. If there are extenuating circumstances, and our company has been clearly notified, within 1 month of the time your item was ordered, we will entertain returns. A restocking fee of 50% will apply in such circumstances.

For All Non-Engagement Ring Purchases:

If you purchased a ring from us other than an engagement ring- we do NOT size rings. If this ring has been sized we are not liable for the sizing and can refuse a return. In this situation, the following return policies will apply: Within 7-10 days of the Order Date: We will accept a return, but will deduct the shipping and handling fees. Rings that were sized are non-refundable. After the 7 day window- Returns will not be accepted. We will entertain the possibility of a return for extenuating circumstances on a case by case basis, but restocking fees will definitely apply- fees vary. No returns after 10 days will be accepted, under any circumstances. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS, please note that we are NOT responsible for customs fees if an item is returned from an international bidder. Please keep this in mind prior to bidding! 12. What is the return policy within 30 Days?
Extended 30 Day Return Policy- Due to popular request we are now accepting returns for an extended 30 day policy.The 30 day return policy is subject to a MANDATORY 25% restocking fee, no exceptions. Items must be in original condition as when sent and must be received in our offices within 30 days of the invoice date. Please allow for sufficient transit time when shipping back any merchandise. If an item is received and appears to be worn in any way we reserve the right to refuse a refund (as we cannot resell used or worn items). Any item received after the extended 30 days, will be dealt with as a possible "buy back" and can be refused or accepted at our discretion.

13. How do I return an item
To return any item, please email Support@outrageousauctions.com or call us at 212.230.1616 for an R.M.A. (return merchandise authorization) number. When sending back your return, please include a copy of your invoice, include a short note explaining the reason for your return and write the R.M.A. number on the outside of the package. All merchandise should be returned to us with a Signature Required and insured for purchase price. The customer will be responsible for insuring each item and for shipping costs. All items will be inspected by a gemologist prior to issuing a refund. For more information on possible restocking fees please reference our return policies.

14. How will my account be credited in the case of a return?
Refunds for orders paid by credit card can only be refunded to original credit card account; Paypal payments refunded via paypal. Refunds for orders paid by check, money-order or wire transfer will be refunded by check. Orders that are refused or are returned by the courier due to their inability to deliver the package (invalid address, recipient unavailable, etc.) may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

15. What kind of Guarantee do you offer on your diamond engagement rings?
We offer a Lifetime Diamond Commitment for any diamond engagement ring, diamond studs or diamond tennis bracelets. Under this guarantee the customer is covered for a LIFETIME for FREE polishing, rhodium plating & stone tightening; the customer must simply cover shipping and handling costs for the life of the diamond. This Lifetime Diamond Commitment guarantees that the structure of the rings and jewelry sold will remain in tact (not need any repairs) within the first year of its wear. If any repairs are necessary, this will be done FREE of charge within the first year, Beyond this time period, any repairs (such as repairing loose or missing stones, resizing, etc.) can be done, however customers will be required to pay a fee. This fee will be determined on a case by case basis (as each service, each ring and each metal can alter the labor required and thus the fees incurred). In addition, we are not responsible for shipping and handling; the customer will have to cover these S&H costs.

Please Note: Most reputable jewelers and high end jewelry companies state that approximately every 6 months, due to normal everyday wear, stones should be tightened or inspected. Outrageous Auctions will guarantee your ring for DOUBLE this time period.

16. What Guarantee do you offer on your Non-Engagement fashion jewelry?
Any item that is not an engagement ring, diamond studs, or tennis bracelet, does not fall under our Lifetime Commitment Guarantee. Therefore, unless an item is received to us within 7 days of the invoice date, we are not liable for any repairs or returns. For a fee, we will continue to offer our repair services. Fees will vary depending on item and nature of repair and will reflect the cost of the labor.

17. Are all of your items in stock?
Yes; however due to our customers visiting our New York showroom, please keep in mind there is always the possibility that a customer purchased an item in person that is still listed online. We try our best to keep our inventory current, but on occasion, we have online customers and customers in our showroom purchasing the same item at the same time. During busy season, our inventory may take up to 7 days to be accurately updated. We will notify you if this happens and will find you an identical ring. Please note that during the holiday season, all Buy It Now items may be subject to delays due to backordered inventory. We will try our utmost to have each and every item in stock for our customers, but due to high order volume on popular items during the holiday season, this may not always be possible. In the case that an item is backordered, we can refund you your money immediately or find a comparable item for you that may be of interest. For GIA & EGL Certified diamonds: We are diamond wholesalers and our GIA & EGL Certified diamond inventory is constantly turning over. 18. How does the 5% Military/Civil Service Discount work?
In order to receive the 5% Military Discount or Civil Service discount you must either fax us or email us some proof of affiliation. **Important**: Promotions and Discounts cannot be combined. The 5% military & civil service discount is NOT eligible on best offers and is not to be combined with any other promotions or offers. The 5% discount is NOT applicable to watches, and GIA or EGL Certified diamonds.

19. How do I combine discounts when checking out?
Promotions and Discounts cannot be combined and are NOT eligible on best offers. Discounts are not applicable to watches, nor are they applicable to GIA or EGL Certified diamonds (occasional promotions such as free shipping or sizing, on the other hand, may be applicable).

20. What are the requirements to purchase from your eBay store?
Bidders must have at least 10 feedbacks to bid (Please email us for approval instructions to bid). As long as you plan to honor your bid and pay promptly upon winning we would be happy to have you participate in our auctions.

21. If I have less than 10 feedbacks can I bid on your items?

22. Does my ring come in a box?
Each ring comes with a FREE standard black ring box. The same is true for diamond studs, pendants and necklaces. For a fee of $15, we can upgrade you to a Mahogany Ring Box.

23. What size is the ring if I do not see a size specified?
If the ring size is not specified, then it comes in a standard stock size 6-7. If you your size ring is within this stock size range, simply specify this in the notes section of your invoice when checking out. You will not be required to pay for ring sizing in this instance. If you request a size other than stock size, we can size the ring for a fee of $40.

24. Do You Resize Rings?
Yes! We now offer ring sizing for a fee of $40 (for sizes other than stock size). Ring sizing can take 5-7 business days and can usually be resized no more than 2 sizes in either direction. If the ring is being sized more than 2 sizes up or down, a special sizing method must be used where we cast a new mold of your ring. This can take up to 14 business days. If you have received the ring already and are sending it back to be resized there will be a $30 surcharge to cover shipping and handling. Please Contact Us if you have a question about a specific ring being sized or if you are in a time crunch. You MUST contact us prior to sending your ring back to be resized, so that we can make sure your ring is shipped back accordingly.

25. Can I still return a ring after it has been sized?
Yes! We will still accept a return within the 7 days even if the ring has been sized by our company, however a $40 fee will be deducted from the total refunded (in addition to the shipping fee).

26. What if I need my ring sized more than 2 sizes either way from the stated size?
If we determine the setting is too fragile to be sized to the size you request then a new setting must be cast in your size. We will use our discretion and proceed accordingly if the situation arises. If this is the case, ALL of the diamonds in the ring you purchased will be reset in the new setting- all of the stones will remain the same, it will only be the metal that is changed. This sizing method may add an additional 5-7 business day to the standard sizing time, but if necessary, will be better for long term wear. There is no additional fee to have to size the ring in this method if it calls for it.

27. Can sizing affect a Clarity Enhanced diamond?
No; as long as your jeweler is familiar with the necessary precautions of working with clarity enhanced stones. If your diamond is enhanced then you must inform your jeweler and remind him that special care must be taken with regard to applying direct heat to the diamond. Direct application of temperatures above 1,500 degrees must be avoided. We offer ring sizing ($40 fee) so if you are concerned about sizing locally, this is always an option, as our jewelers are very familiar in working with enhanced stones.

28. How many days do I have to pay for my item?
We require our customers to pay within 7 business days or risk their sale being revoked. If an item is not paid for within 7 days, and contact is not made regarding a payment date, legal action may be taken. 32. What is the policy for Non-Paying Bidders or Late Payment?
If payment is made after the 7 day time period, regardless of payment method or notification, there is a small risk you run that your sale may be revoked or your item sold to another customer. We cannot guarantee to hold an item, if payment is not made within the designated time frame. eBay policies regarding entering into a sale transaction are very strict, this is for the both the buyer and seller's protection. The eBay User Agreement clearly states that as the high bidder or winner of an auction you are expected to honor your bid and are obligated to complete the transaction. 33. Are there any other fees involved other than the purchase price and shipping fees?
No; Upon purchase each customer will be presented with the option to upgrade their ring box, personalize or size their item, purchase ancillary items and bond their purchase with BuySafe, all of which come with a cost, but are NOT required. NEW YORK STATE RESIDENTS or customers that request to pick-up their rings in our New York City showroom, are subject to an 8.375% sales tax. For online customers this fee will be added to order total when checking out. Similarly, INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS are responsible for knowing and paying their country's taxes, duty and import fees. We are not responsible for any duties and taxes issued by your country and do not refund these fees if an item is returned.

34. Do you offer Financing or Layaway?
Yes! We offer an INTEREST FREE layaway program that can be tailored to individual customer's needs. A 20% deposit is required, non-refundable. The maximum amount of time we will accept an item on layaway is 2 months. The item must be paid in full within 2 months of the order date, or the sale will be revoked. No item will ship until paid in full. If you are interested in financing, you can do so through Paypal. Paypal offers financing options that have been helpful to a number of our customers. 35. How are items shipped?
All of our packages are shipped with a special FedEx account, specializing in high ticket items, that allows us to fully insure each package. Upon delivery, a Direct Signature is Required (or signed by someone at least 18 years of age, at the designated location). If there is no one at the location to sign for the package, 3 additional attempts will be made, for 3 consecutive days until the package is returned back to the sender.

36. What are your shipping rates?
Our standard method of shipping is FedEx Express 2-day for $35. FedEx Express Overnight delivery is also available for $50. All International shipments are sent FedEx International Priority for a fee of $65.

37. When will I receive my item?
Items can be shipped 2-day, Overnight, or with International Priority, however various factors such as payment clearing, ring sizing, polishing, engraving and all custom orders can further delay shipments. For more information on when you can expect your item, please Contact Us directly.

38. I'm having my engagement ring shipped but it's a surprise? Will the packaging give it away?
Each item is shipped in an unmarked Medium size FedEx box so your surprise will not be ruined. She will never suspect an engagement ring (or any other fabulous jewelry item) is inside the FedEx box.

39. What is included in the package?
Each piece of jewelry is inspected before it goes out to ensure it is exceptional, as marketed. In your package, you will receive all of the essentials: (i) your beautiful new piece of jewelry, complemented by (ii) either a standard ring box (or, if you order it, a deluxe ring box) and if applicable (iii) the original independent appraisal. You will also receive some helpful Outrageous Auctions reading material, such as a (iv) Caring For Your Diamond guide!

40. Does the Shipping & Handling fee include Insurance?
Yes! Due the nature of our shipments, all packages are sent Fully Insured with Signature Required.

41. Do you ship to an unconfirmed address?
We cannot accept a payment from an unconfirmed address and will not ship to an unconfirmed address, international or domestic. If you would like your item shipped to an address other than the one listed in your paypal account please make a note of this when checking out, as well as contact us directly to confirm this can be done.

42. Do you ship Internationally?
Yes; we ship worldwide! However, we do NOT ship to following countries: Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and various African countries. International customers may be subject to duties and taxes associated with importing goods; fees vary depending on country. The customer is responsible for knowing and paying these fees. All packages are shipped International Priority which can take 3-5 business days to receive. For further information please carefully read the shipment information pertaining to non-domestic shipments above. If an item is sent back to us, as a result of failure to pay the necessary duties or taxes, the return charge our company is penalized with by International FedEx WILL be deducted from your total. These fees can be as high as $100, and can vary with each package.

43. What is the value declared on the custom's form?
All international packages are declared for the purchase price of the item, NOT the appraisal or retail value.

44. Can you declare the package as a gift? Or for less than what I paid?
Please do not ask us to tamper with customs forms. Under NO circumstances will we mark the item as a "gift" or value it at less than what you paid for the merchandise. Such actions are highly illegal. If you have an alternate address in the United States that you would like us to ship your item to, then please contact us immediately. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

45. Can we pick up our item in person?
Our global headquarters is located in New York City. Please call 212-230-1616 to arrange a personal meeting in our luxurious 5th Avenue showroom. Please keep in mind, all NY Sales are subject to 8.375% Sales Tax.

46. What if I am not available to sign for the package?
All packages are sent SIGNATURE REQUIRED so someone must be at the address given to sign for the package. In the instance that you will not be home to sign for the package there are two alternate shipping options. We can either ship to a work address or we can have the package held at the nearest FedEx location for pick-up. For the latter option, we will submit your home or work address into the FedEx system and they will calculate the nearest FedEx facility for pick-up. You will then be contacted with a tracking number that you can locate your package with. By calling 1-800-GO-FedEx you will be able to find the location your item will be held at, if you do not call, FedEx will contact you with this information shortly after the package is prepared, so it is important to give a working phone number when checking out.

47. What Does 'Same Day' Shipping mean?
If we receive payment by 2pm EST M-F we typically ship the same day. If your item is paid for on a Saturday or Sunday, it will ship no sooner than the following business day. We do NOT ship merchandise on weekends. If your item is being sized or customized, it cannot be shipped same day, as such services typically take an extra 5-7 business days.

48. What kind of Repair Guarantee do you have?
Outrageous Auctions offers a Lifetime Diamond Commitment. Under this guarantee the customer is covered for a LIFETIME for FREE polishing, rhodium plating & stone tightening; the customer must simply cover shipping and handling costs for the life of the diamond. This Lifetime Diamond Commitment guarantees that the structure of the rings and jewelry sold will remain in tact (not need any repairs) within the first year of its wear. If any repairs are necessary, this will be done FREE of charge within the first year, Beyond this time period, any repairs (such as repairing loose or missing stones, resizing, etc.) can be done however customers will be required to pay a fee. This fee will be determined on a case by case basis (as each service, each ring and each metal can alter the labor required and thus the fees incurred). In addition, we are not responsible for shipping and handling; the customer will have to cover these costs. Please Note: Most reputable jewelers and high end jewelry companies state that approximately every 6 months, due to normal everyday wear, stones should be tightened or inspected. Outrageous Auctions will guarantee your ring for DOUBLE this time period.

49. Can custom changes be made to existing items?
We manufacture all of our own diamond engagement rings and 95% of all of the merchandise we carry, so we can almost always accommodate custom requests. Pricing and time frame will vary greatly depending on the item and requested job. Please note that such jobs are considered Special Custom Orders. Please read about our policies on Custom Orders below.

50. What is considered a Custom Order?
Customer orders include but are not limited to the following: Upgrades to 18k or Platinum, diamond eternity bands, extreme sizes (Sizes less than 4 and greater than 9), and any custom designed ring.

51. What is your policy with Custom Orders or Special Orders?
All custom and special order items require a 20% deposit, which is non-refundable. No work will begin on the order until the 20% deposit is made. There are no returns on custom orders. If there are truly extenuating circumstances then we may consider accepting a refund within the 7 day return window, subject to a restocking fee. This fee will vary with each order, and can be as much as 50%.

52. Can we purchase just the setting of a ring (without the diamond)? & Visa versa?
Yes. We can almost always separate the center diamond from the semi-mount setting, or visa versa. Prices will vary. Contact Us for more information on specific merchandise.

53. Who appraises the Jewelry?
All of our jewelry comes with a certified appraisal issued by an Independent Gemological Appraisal Laboratory, as we always want to provide our customers with a professional unbiased opinion. To do so we work with a few different appraisal laboratories in the diamond district. The main appraisal laboratory that we use to have our merchandise certified and appraised is GAL, located on "47th Street" -the Heart of New York City's Diamond District. Because this laboratory is an independent lab and has many other customers and companies that they service on a daily basis, we also have rings appraised by other gemological appraisal laboratories so that we do not further delay any orders unnecessarily. We do ensure that ALL jewelry is appraised by GIA certified gemologists, independent of Outrageous Auctions. The Wall Street Journal says that "...Every diamond should come with a grading certificate from an accredited gemological laboratory..." This is why at the very least we have our diamonds appraised by graduate gemologists who obtained their degrees and training from the G.I.A. These gemologists were trained by the very best and are considered the most qualified. The appraisers we use, at GAL and AGAL laboratories, have no affiliation with our company and appraise jewelry for some of the most prestigious and well-known jewelry and diamond manufacturers across the world.

54. Can I use this appraisal certificate for insurance?
Yes! We provide an independent appraisal to guarantee the reliable quality of our merchandise and give you the ultimate peace of mind and confidence in your purchase, the main purpose of the appraisal is for insurance purposes. Insurance companies nationwide acknowledge and accept these appraisal certificates.

55. How do I insure my diamond jewelry?
After purchasing a big ticket item such as an engagement ring or even a diamond tennis bracelet, you will want to insure your purchase. It is for this reason that we at Outrageous Auctions, provide an independent appraisal card for all engagement rings, diamond stud earrings over 1ct and diamond tennis bracelets purchases. This appraisal is provided free of charge for insurance purposes. You will use this appraisal card to insure your diamond under your renter's and homeowner's insurance policies (or any jewelry insurance company will be able to insure your baubles). When insuring your jewelry, check to see the limit of your renter's or homeowner's insurance and what the policy covers.

56. What is the source of all your diamonds?
Our diamonds, to our knowledge, the knowledge of our suppliers and/or through written guarantees are Conflict Free.

57. How can I care for my diamond?
Exposure during ordinary wear to perspiration and household chemicals, like chlorine and hairspray, can cause build-up that dulls the surface of the diamond. We recommend periodic cleaning with mild cleaning methods (such as steam) to keep the diamond sparkling and refractive. For more information on cleaning, please read on. If a diamond is clarity enhanced there are some further stipulations when caring for the stone. Please read our questions pertaining to CE diamonds for more information.

58. How can I protect my diamond?
Even though diamonds are the hardest natural substance known to man, a diamond will scratch another diamond. So it is important that jewelry not be stored together since it can be scratched or tangled. Also, diamond jewelry should never be worn while doing heavy work. Small side stones, also known as 'points,' are vulnerable to chipping and even normal day-to-day activity can loosen a setting. This is why it's important to visit a professional jeweler every twelve months to have your diamond's mountings and settings checked. You can always send you ring back to us for a FREE* ring check- where our jewelers can check for loose stones and tighten prongs. (*customers must cover shipping and handling fees)

59. What is a Clarity Enhanced diamond?
Clarity Enhanced diamonds are real natural diamonds formed and mined from the earth. Every diamond in nature has internal structural inclusions that either form during the crystallization process of the diamond or during the polishing process. The clarity enhancement process is a state-of-the-art patented technology whose goal it is to optically eliminate various internal inclusions in the diamonds while visually improving their brilliance and clarity.

61. What is the Clarity Enhanced technology?
Simply stated, the enhancement process visually improves the clarity of the diamond by using a glass-like material which adds virtually no weight to the diamond. It coats the inside surface of the diamond's fractures or 'feathers' with transparent material whose optical characteristics and refractive index mimic the facets in a natural diamond.

62. How do I care for my Clarity Enhanced diamond?
The best way to clean your enhanced diamond is to simply apply a little bit of warm water with a toothbrush or use a non-ammonia based jewelry cleaner. Ultrasonic cleaning, steam cleaning or boiling water are also acceptable delicate cleaning methods. Always tell your jeweler if your diamond is enhanced, as special precautions must be taken with regard to the application of heat and use of ammonia or other harsh chemical cleaning acids.

63. What kind of Guarantee do you offer on your Clarity Enhanced diamonds?
Proper care guidelines are outlined in a document sent with each enhanced diamond. These guidelines must be followed so as not to impair the beauty and brilliance of your clarity enhanced diamond. As long as the suitable care is taken for the enhanced diamond, you should not have any problems with the stone. However, we do guarantee the life of our C.E. Diamonds- in other words, we guarantee to re-enhance the diamond free of charge (please keep in mind this process is done overseas and may take 3-4 weeks to complete). We encourage all of our customers to use the appraisal certificate provided with their purchase to insure their stone as this will cover any damages or lose of the diamond, things that we do not cover.

64. Do you enhance diamonds? How can I get my diamond enhanced?
We are not in the business of enhancing customer's diamonds. Please keep in mind as well, that not every diamond is a candidate for the enhancement process.
