1. While on the home screen, click the "blackberry key" on keyboard, then select "options".

2. Choose "Advanced Options". Then Select "Sim Card".

3. Type m e p p 2 to display the dialog box asking for the unlock code (Press the Alt + 2 key to get the number 2) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).

4. Input the SIM Unlock code.

5. Press in the trackball once.

 

How to Enter Unlock Codes for Cingular Blackberry Pearl:

1. Must be done without a sim card inserted & wireless radios must be turned off.

2. While on the home screen, click the settings icon.

3. Click the options icon. Select advanced options.

4.Select Sim Card

Step Action

1. Must be done without a sim card inserted & wireless radios must be turned off.

2.On the Home screen, click the Tools icon. The Options screen appears.

3. In the tools screen, select the Settings icon.

4. Scroll to SIM Card and select it. You should see the phone number and the SIM ID number.

5.Type ‘mepp2' to display the dialog box asking for the unlock code (Press the Alt + 2 key to get the number 2) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).

6.Input the SIM Unlock code. Finally, press in the jog dial once.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Blackberry 8700 / 8707:;

1.You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps ( Can be active or inactive ).

2.Go to settings. Then Go to options.

3.Go to advanced options. Then Go to sim card.

4.Hold the ALT Key while typing in MEPE ( not case sensitive ) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).

5.It will say "Enter Network MEP Code, then you type in the unlock code, press in the jog dial to confirm.

6. Your phone is now unlocked.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Blackberry Curve 8300, 8310, 8320, 8800, 8820:;

1.Go to settings. Then Go to options.

2.Go to advanced options. Then Go to sim card.

3. Hold the ALT Key while typing in MEPE ( not case sensitive ) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).

4. It will say "Enter Network MEP Code, then you type in the unlock code, press in the trackball to confirm.

5. Your phone is Unlocked.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Blackberry 5xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx ( Except for 7100 ):;

1. Go to options.

2. Scroll to SIM CARD then press jog dial in once to select it.

3. Type MEPD (not case sensitive) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).

4. Does it say Network active? if so your phone is locked.

5. Press and hold the alt key (half moon looking key on the lower left side).

6. As you are holding the alt key type in MEPE (not case sensitive) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).

7. Type in the unlock code when prompted.

8. After entering the code press the jog dial in.

9. Your phone is now unlocked!

How to Enter Unlock Codes on PalmOne: Treo 600 / 650

1. Power on phone with a non-cingular sim inserted.

2. When phone is powered up dial any number, it will ask you if you want to turn phone on, click yes.

3. It will say "your phone cannot be used with this SIM card" click ok.

4. It will say "Network Search" click cancel.

5. Using the dial pad do the following: enter *#*#code# then press dial on the screen.

6. It will say the sim lock has been removed from your phone.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on PalmOne: Treo 680 / Centro

1. Power on with non-cingular sim.

2. It will then say "Your phone cannot be used with this SIM card".

3. Click ok.

4. Click dialpad tab, bottom of the screen far left.

5. Using stylus type *#*#code#.

6. Press the green button.

7. It will then say The SIM Lock has been removed from the phone".

How to Enter Unlock Codes on PalmOne: Treo 750

1. Power on with NON-Cingular sim.

2. Using onscreen keyboard enter unlock code.

OR:

1. Power on with NON-Cingular sim.

2. Using physical keyboard hold down key with large white dot ( lower left hand corner of keyboard ) while typing numbers on the keyboard.

How to enter unlock code for Sierra Wireless PC Card - Windows XP and 2000 via Communication Manager ;

Step Action

1 Insert non-Cingular SIM into PC Card and insert card into computer.

2 Launch the Communication Manager program.

- Incorrect SIM will display

3 In the "Please enter special code" field, enter the 8 digit unlock code.

- If the message does not appear or "No SIM" is displayed, proceed to the HyperTerminal instructions.

4 Press Send

1. Power on with NON-Cingular sim.

2. Type 159753#*#.

3. Enter Unlock code.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on LG: CU 575 / Trax

1. Put a non cingular sim in the phone ,phone says invalid smart chip.

2. Now enter *#865625# then select option 1 and then again select 1 and enter your 16 digits code.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on LG: Shine / TU 720

1. Power ON your phone with original sim from carrier the phone is locked to.

2. Type *#865625#UNLOCK CODE.

3. Press OK.

4. Device is now unlocked.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on LG: VU

1. Power on with AT&T sim card.

2. Type *#865625#

3. Message Displayed: SIM Unlock Process Select “OK”

4.Select “Unlock SIM” then Select “Network Unlock”

5.Enter the 16 digit unlock code* and Select "OK"

Power on without sim, type in:

#pw+code+1#

Use the * key to get the p, w, and + on Non-Smartphone Nokias.

If you receive a code error after using this method, try once more like this #pw+code+7#.

Power on with a Non T-Mobile sim, enter unlock code when prompted.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Motorola;

Power on with incorrect sim ( sim from a different carrier ).

Enter supplied code when prompted for "Subsidy Unlock Code".

If you see the message "Contact Service Provider" this just means someone has tried a code a few times already, just plug the charger into the phone and check the screen every so often to see if its changed and now prompting for the Subsidy Unlock Code. Can take up to 2 hrs.

1. Power off the device and remove AT&T SIM card

2. Insert card from another wireless carrier

4. With the device in portrait mode, tap the phone icon.

5. Dial *#865625# to enter the unlock code menu

6. Display now says "TO UNLOCK SIM ENTER UNLOCK CODE CORRECTLY. FIVE (5) TIMES WILL RESULT IN THE PERMANENT LOCK OF YOUR PHONE CONTINUE?"

7. Enter the 15 digit code given to you, then tap DONE. If you entered incorrect code, you will see this message: "ÏNCORRECT LOCK CODE" "INCORRECT UNLOCK CODE TRY AGAIN"

8. If the code is correct, tap on DONE. The handset is now successfully unlocked
