Pretty much got the Super Nintendo section of our apartment done. Here are some pics!

Not a lot of space, so we had to use every bit we could. You can see part of stacy and cory in the picture.

We can hold about 5000 Super Nintendo Games on those shelves. So we have plenty of space for games :)! There is around 1600 on them right now.

Been really busy lately, haven't had time to put anything on here. I'm hoping to start selling some custom video game art in the store. We'll see how that goes. We're also planning on selling Nintendo 64 games soon. Once we're comfortable with our game selection in Super Nintendo then that is most likely when will start selling Nintendo 64. I'm looking forward to it!

eBay made it free to add additional pictures to our listings. So I started taking a ton of pictures for all the complete games we have listed. They turned out pretty good. You guys should check them out. -Jeffrey

   Top 10 Super Nintendo Games
This is a quick List of my top 10 favourite Super Nintendo Games.
1. Final Fantasy III - I'm a big square fan so... and this game is amazing soo.. that is why it's first.
2. Super Metroid - This is one of the first Super Nintendo Games I played, I can't really think of any games that compare to it on the Super Nintendo. Everything about this game is awesome. I loved the music, controls, graphics, searching around for items, mysteriousness, the bosses... Can't say enough about this game. It's weird that this game got a bad review in Japan when it came out.
3. Super Bomberman - I think I might of quite possibly put more time on this game than Final Fantasy III playing multiplayer with my friends. I don't think there is any game with as much replay value as this game on the Super Nintendo for how simple it is. I mean not many games were 4 player around the time period this game came out. Anybody who wants to hang out with their friends, eat pizza and have fun. This is the game for you.
4. The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past - This is my favourite Zelda game. Ocarina time was really good, but this is still my fav and will always be.
5. Metal Marines - Yeah, this is kind of an unusual game to have on my top 10. It's a pretty rare namco game, but I think it's the best strategy game for Super Nintendo. It's been a while since I played it, but I just remember it being really fun and addicting (LIKE EVERY GOOD GAME!). The only downside from what I remember is that it needed to be more difficult. I still loved the game though.
6. R-Type III - This is one of the few Shoot Em' Up games I beat on Super Nintendo. I think I was just testing the game, or something. Then all of a sudden I found myself beating the game a few hours later lol. I could've put Star Fox here or maybe UN Squadron, but this game kind of stuck out in my mind. It was quite enjoyable!
7. Chrono Trigger - Fine, I put it on here, Chrono Trigger! I was trying to avoid putting to my Square games on this list. This one could definitely be moved up closer to number 1. You can definitely debate over whether Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy III was better. They're definitely the top 2 best RPGs for Super Nintendo. I still liked FF3 better then Chrono Trigger. I played Chrono Trigger for the first time on PS1 in the Final Fantasy Origins Compilation. When you can play a game all the way through years later, then you know its a good one.
8. Cybernator - This was a good mech shooter game. It was either a choice between the rare Metal Warriors game, or Cybernator. I chose Cybernator cause it was the first one I beat. Both these games definitely stand out among action shooter games. I remember being able to change mechs, shoot in multiple directions and cool graphics. They even had some cool cut scenes. Konami made a lot of good games for SNES.
9. Micro Machines - This was another good 4 player game I played with my friends a lot. It was a racing game and if you were playing 4 player and you fell behind (or got shot) you would lose a circle. Then if you lost all of your circles you would lose. Yeah, you could race in all kinds of different types of vehicles, like helicopters, cars, tanks! Tanks was the best, cause you could shoot eachother with them. I played tanks the most out of anything with my friends.
10.Turtles in Time IV - This was a good 2 player game. It wasn't as good as the NES Ninja Turtles, but it was still worth playing with a friend. I still play it now and again.

I made this list on the spur of the moment. Theres probably a lot of changing around I'd do on it if I spent a lot of time it, but those games are still all very good games and are definitely worth looking into! -Jeffrey

Just moved our business to a different building. Time for us to get busy! We're gonna start buying a lot of product now. Our selection should increase dramatically over the next month. The internet here gets up to 30mb per second. Definitely the fastest I've ever had before. It Might speed our work up a tad bit. I read korea or some place is already getting 100mb? Weird that america doesn't already have those speeds available everywhere. -Jeffrey

Finally got the new questions page up. It still needs quite a few questions added to it, but I got most of the main ones up. I also added a contact phone to the questions page. So you guys can call us if the need arises. We've added quite a few manuals to our store the past few days. You should check them out before the good ones get bought up. Also updated the system descriptions. We're now giving much more accurate details for every system (even a grade to) and were doing much more thorough testing on the systems to ensure that you'll only get a system that's in great working condition. -Jeffrey

We added a live chat to our store just the other day. We'll be online most of the afternoon and into the mornings sometimes. I made a cool little donkey kong logo for the online chat button :) So basically as long as I'm working you guys will see chat online. This is my first time using online chat so hopefully there isn't any problems. I might be changing between live chat providers. So live chat might not always be up, but as long as you see the online thing. Then it will be. -Jeffrey

Just added 2 sections on the home page. Interesting Super Nintendo Facts and the Game Videos section. I'll pretty much just be searching around the internet from time to time to find interesting info about Super Nintendo. Then I'll post it up on here! Eventually will have a ton of cool info to read. As for the video section, thats just a glimpse of whats to come. We plan to have a video up on every game listing. That's quite a while away though. We realise the videos are not the best (they are very time consuming to make), but in the future when we have more resources and time we plan to make better ones. -Jeffrey

Can You Answer These?

October 1, 2009
Question
1. What causes Super Nintendos to Discolor or yellow?

Answer
1. I just read a really good article on the internet about this question. From what I read it seems the Super Nintendo Systems are made of this plastic called ABS. Which is the cheapest of 3 of the most commonly used plastics and degrades the quickest, but why do some systems turn yellow while other other ones, or parts of ones stay grey? Well it most likely had something to do with this fire retardant chemical that they mixed in with the plastic and if this chemcial isn't mixed properly it can hasten the discoloration of the plastic. Which is probably what happend with a large batch of the Super Nintendo System's plastic.

2. What color are the A,B,X,Y Buttons on the Super Famicom controller?

3. What is a speedrun in the gaming world?

Answers
1. Bebe's Kids, attempt to play this game and you will understand. Notice I said "attempt".

2. Blue, Green, Yellow and Red.

3. Speedrun is basically just beating the game as fast as possible and timing it. There are quite a few people out there that spend a lot of competing against eachothers records. To date the fastest speedrun for Super Mario World 1 is 10 minutes 59 seconds according to the speeddemosarchive. Try to beat that 0_0!

Questions
1. What was name of the Super Nintendo Released in Japan and what year was it released?

2. Did Mortal Kombat sell more copies for Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo?

3. Was Super Nintendo ever playable over the internet?

Answers
1. Super Famicom was released in 1990. Super Nintendo was released 1991.

2. Suprisingly the Genesis Mortal Kombat out sold the Super Nintendo version. With a ratio of 3 to 1. The reason why this happend was because Nintendo censored the gore on the Super Nintendo Version. Nintendo didn't censor Mortal Kombat II when it came out and it ended up out selling the Genesis.

3. Yes, in fact there was an adapter used to connect to the internet called the X-Band adapter. It allowed you to play against other people online in a select few games. It can no longer be used, but looks good in a collection.

1. What rare Beat 'Em Up Arcade Game was only released for rent at blockbuster?

2. Why was japanese Final Fantasy IV released as Final Fantasy II for Super Nintendo?

3. What awesome original artist did the character artwork for US FF2 and FF3?

Answers
1. Final Fight Guy, basically just another version of Final Fight 1, with the main difference being Guy as the main character.

2. Square decided it would be best to put their effort into Final Fantasy IV instead of working on a translation on a game for an older system. Since the next generation system Super Nintendo was released. To cause less confusion they released it as Final Fantasy II. They later released the Japan FF2 on Playstation with the Japan FF3 on PS1 as FF Origins.

3. Yoshitaka (like the mushrooms from that Cowboy Bebop episode!) Amano. My favourite artist ever.
