The basic functionality is ok. The battery charging does not work. I contacted the seller, they told me that they tested the device before shipping. I wondered why QA did not find the issue during the test. For future clients, I would recommend requesting the checklist before ship and requesting the additional test cases

Thank you guys for the great value. The fusion splicer arrived as described I was able to run sample fibers from my current project through this machine with perfect splices an run all calibration and machine tests without a hitch my employer only has 2 splicers for 30 techs and I was tired of waiting for one of their splicers to become free. You guys just saved me a ton of headaches and offered a great value. Hope to do more business with you as I can.
