QUESTION: Where do you get your items?

ANSWER: Since 2004, our focus has been on finding, preserving, protecting, and archiving paper ephemera that we acquire from a variety of sources including books, journals, magazines, etc. that date from the early 18th century through the late 20th century.

QUESTION: What is the reason for your pricing?

ANSWER: We price our items based off of the quality of the paper, the source from which it came, the archival packaging in which we store and ship our prints, and the provenance we provide in our Certificates of Authenticity that can be used for archiving. However, the reason we like to use eBay is for its bidding system. This way our customers can make an offer at a price they feel is fair.

QUESTION: Do you sell photographs?

ANSWER: No. We do not sell fine art/photographic prints like you would find in a fine arts store. A majority of our items are on the standard paper stock you would find in a book or magazine.

QUESTION: How do I checkout for my order?

ANSWER: We ask that you please use MarketplaceAdvisor to checkout. Do we require you to do so? No. However, we specialize in extraordinary customer service and what enables us to do this, with a growing average of over 1,000 shipments per month, is the order management system we built through MarketplaceAdvisor. This system automatically combines your orders and gives you multiple ways to pay for your items including M/C, Visa, Discover, and PayPal. In addition, it allows you to use discount and promotional codes during the checkout.

QUESTION: Can you combine my purchases?

ANSWER: We're happy to combine every item you purchase within the same day on one invoice under one shipping fee, provided you pay for all of the items at once. Please e-mail us a "Send Invoice" request so we can combine your order under one shipping charge.

QUESTION: How often do you ship and when can I expect my item?

ANSWER: We ship five days a week and sometimes on Saturdays when volumes are high. Typically, your item ships within 24 hours of payment and is guaranteed to ship within 48 hours. Priority packages within the US often arrive within 2-3 days, and First Class International packages often arrive 3-4 weeks from the moment you receive your tracking information. This can vary, however, due to delays in customs.

QUESTION: Can you mark my item as "gift" and mark a lesser value on the customs forms so I receive my package sooner?

ANSWER: Our customs and international shipping systems are now directly integrated with the USPS and are monitored under federal law. By law, we're unable to declare a value under the value you paid for the item. In addition, we can no longer mark the item as gift versus merchandise. We understand the duties and fees implications as it relates to this, and do everything we can legally do in order to support our large international buying base. We ship over 500 packages a month internationally and can assure you that, despite delays in customs, your package will arrive. Very rarely does it not.

QUESTION: Can you change the shipping address to the person I'm gifting this to, and can you include a card?

ANSWER: We're happy to change the address to the person you want us to send to. Please contact us immediately after payment with the new address so we can change it before the item ships. In the message, please also let us know what you'd like written in the card and if you'd like the print gift wrapped.

QUESTION: Why should I "like" your Facebook page?

ANSWER: We want to get to know our customers and we would like for them to know us better as well. It's a way for us to share new collections with you as well as hear what you like. We provide special offers to our Facebook fans via contests, giveaways, and trivia. We will let you know in advance of upcoming new releases, promotions, free items, contests, and news about our business and the marketplace in general.
