Hello everyone,

A little background on my conservation effort(and yours) that I am able to execute everytime you make a purchase at my store.

Ever since I was probably about 8 years old or so, I had this dream of planting our dairy farm into trees.  I was always fascinated with trees, collecting seeds at a young age just for the fun of collecting.  When  I turned 36, my wife and I purchased our home farm from my father and farmed for a few years, but I still had a yearning to plant trees.  The farm has been in my family since 1872 and I can only imagine the hardships they endured clearing the land of trees in order to survive and farm.  And here I am turning back time with my reforestation effort.   We were able to initially plant 42 acres into trees but we still have another 30 acres that I wanted planted into trees.  As one can imagine, it is an expensive proposition.  That is where Ebay has come into my life.  Being able to buy and sell items, we are able to continue financing our conservation effort.  September 2007 we were able to purchase 1000 Red pine and 1000 White pine seedlings to plant in May 2008.

Currently, my tree inventory planted is around 29,000 trees which include a healthy mix of: White Pine, White Spruce, Red Pine, Red Oak, Black Cherry, Black Walnut, White Ash, Green Ash, Sugar Maple, Silver Maple, American Basswood.

Unfortunately, of the 1500 Red Pine planted May 2007, most did not survive as we suffered through 4" of rain from May to October.  Normal year here is probably 16-18".  We continue on...

On most items purchased in our store, you purchase allows us to save enough to purchase an additional 5 seedlings for the following springs plant.  I promise to get some current pictures up soon, as some trees we have planted the first year are now 3-4' tall.

Tree planting has become such a part of my life and I do thank everyone from the bottome of my heart in helping our effort, it is so much appreciated.  And I love hearing stories about my customer's own conservation efforts.  Together, we all can do it!!

I take great pride in my feedback and quickness of delivery, peruse my feedback and you will see.  Although my shipping is probably a little higher than most, your package is wrapped with great care and usually at the post office the next available business day.  Its your hard earned money and, trust me, I am working hard to earn your respect and business.

                                                                                 Respectfully yours,

                                                                                  Andy
