Shipping Policy

 

Ordering an item from PlumberSurplus.com?

We can ship to virtually any address within the Continental United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. For shipments outside the United States please see our International Shipping Policy.

 

How are Orders Shipped?

 

We ship exclusively with UPS unless freight is required, see Items Requiring Special handling below. It is not possible to specify a preferred carrier when placing your order. Nor are we able to use personal UPS account numbers for shipment.

 

Address Shipping Restrictions

 

Carrier restrictions and product nature prevent us from shipping certain products to all types of addresses.

 

We DO NOT ship to P.O. Boxes or APO's.

 

Delivery Estimates

 

Orders are processed within 24hrs or next business day.

 

The majority of our listing ship in two business days. However, those listings that are manufacturer special orders are indicated in our descriptions, including estimated shipping time, as “Usually Ships In”.

 

Please be aware that there is no weekend pickup or delivery for any shipping method.

 

Time from placing your order until a product ships + Time from shipping a product until delivery = Total time to get your product.

 

Free Shipping

 

Orders qualifying for free shipping are indicated in the individual listings (Not available in AK, HI, or for orders shipped outside the United States).

 

Items Requiring Special Handling

 

Oversized and extremely heavy products may require that they be shipped by freight and therefore would ship separately from other items in your order. Please note that each shipment of these items may require an adult signature upon delivery. Once your order leaves our distribution center, you may be contacted by the shipper to arrange a specific time for delivery.

 

Undeliverable Packages

 

Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we will issue a full refund. Depending on the circumstances we may refund shipping charges.

 

We may be able to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order or Contact Us to see if we can re-ship the order.

 

If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not received confirmation of its return after four weeks from an estimated delivery date, please Contact Us.

 

Why was my package undeliverable?

Incorrect Address: If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is typically returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please double-check your address carefully when placing a new order.

 

Address Format: If a post office box address was entered.

 

Other Address Problems: In rare cases, it is possible that the address label became illegible during the shipping and handling process.

 

Failed Delivery Attempts: Most of our carriers will make three attempts to deliver a package. Packages that contain a certain dollar amount of merchandise may require a signature. Otherwise, it is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.

 

Refused by Recipient: If a recipient is not expecting a package, they may refuse the package if they believe it was sent to them in error.
