Notice Something Odd About Our Bluing Descriptions?
Each description features practically the same wording save for the type of gun being blued, be it single, double or octagon. The reason for this is the process is the same, no matter what the final finish requested. The ONLY difference that determines whether the finish comes out Flat Matte, Factory or High Polish, is the amount of polishing done and the final level of grit used. Otherwise, the entire process is unchanged. Bead blasting is another variable. Dependent upon the pitting, more or less blasting may need to be done.

Does your gun have a lot of scrollwork? cartouches? decorative anything on the metal? All of the work we do around these is done by hand to maintain the beauty of your finished piece. If we feel that any of these types of engravings may be compromised, we will contact you first to discuss.

You may note that we offer several different services for varying prices versus our competition. I can promise you that you won't, you absolutely will NOT find better quality work. (And this is coming from the wife, no less!) Mark will not allow a piece to leave his shop unless it is something he would be proud to carry himself. He is absolutely meticulous, taking great amounts of pride in his work. We have yet (knock on wood) to disappoint a customer and thus far, we have done several hundred guns!
