Privacy Policy Precision*World maintains a firm commitment to your privacy. All information provided is considered confidential and intended solely for transaction-related purposes only. We do not sell, rent or trade any customer information, including your email address, to third parties. We recognize that Identity Theft and Spam are growing concerns with our customers and we will protect any information given to us with the highest degree of integrity and security. We utilize standard SSL encryption when accepting credit card information during online ordering and all online orders are placed through a secure server. To further enhance our security measures, no customer information is kept on our website and all credit card numbers are deleted from our accounting system after seven days. The only people who have access to credit card information are the operations manager and those directly responsible for card authorization. We share other personal information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing or shipping of your order. This includes the financial institution that processes your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order.

Money Back Guarantee Precision*World offers 30 days to test your purchase. This trial period begins the day you take receipt of the item. If you are not satisfied within these thirty days, you may return it to us for a full refund, less our 20% restocking fee. We know buying without seeing and touching can be uncomfortable. Warranty Our microscopes and accessories are manufactured under the strict guidelines established by ISO 9001: 2000 Standards. All our products come with years of factory's warranty.
  • Five Year Warranty for Microscopes - All our microscopes come with a five (5) year factory warranty against manufacturing defects, covering labor and parts.
  • One Year Warranty for Accessories - All our microscope accessories (cameras, illuminators, dust covers, and etc.) come with a one (1) year warranty, except when specified in the description.
  • Warranty Services - We, Precision*World, provide all the warranty services. Please feel free to contact us whenever you need help.
  • Buyers are responsible for round-way shipping and handling costs for warranty services.
  • Warranty does not apply for consumable accessories and parts such as bulbs.

We accept Paypal payments and major credit cards. We expect a payment to be received within 16 days after an auction ends. An unpaid reminder will be sent on the due day automatically.

  • Ship from Los Angeles - Our warehouses are located in southern California of the United States of America. All our products will be shipped from the greater Los Angeles area.
  • Ship within 24 Hours - We usually ship orders out within 24 hours after receiving your payment except on weekends and holidays. We ship UPS Ground for orders within the United States and Canada unless requested otherwise. For international orders we ship via Airmail Parcel Post of the United States Postal Service. We also ship COD, shipments through other popular shipping companies, and express shipping upon request at possible extra cost. Tracking information will be directly emailed to you from the shipping company after your order is shipped out. Please find shipping cost in the listings underneath the Shipping & Handling section.
  • Express Shipping - Next Day (AM and PM), 2nd Day, or 3 Day express shipping is available for most items at extra cost. Please message us for a quote.
  • Free Shipping - Items offered free shipping are shipped to contiguous USA (the lower 48 States) via UPS Ground only. If shipped or have to be shipped via any other ways, buyers must pay the difference. Items to HI, AK, PR, or APO/FPO/DPO can be shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service) only. Buyers need to pay the difference for that service.
  • Time to Deliver - International shipping via Airmail Parcel Post usually takes 4 - 10 days for delivery, depending on the speed of customs clearance of your country. Express packages can be delivered overnight, 2nd day or 3 day, depending on the method you choose. UPS Ground usually takes about five business days from coast to coast.
Return Policy Precision*World has a 30-Day Return Policy. You have thirty days from receipt of your purchase to test the item. If you are not satisfied with the product, please return it within the thirty days in its original box and packing. We will refund your entire purchase price, less our 20% restocking fee. You must email us with a written request for a return material authorization number (RMA#). You need to include in this email your eBay item number, a detailed note on the reason(s) for the return, and the date of purchase. Once you receive an RMA# from our offices, you may return the item. Without an RMA# your item will be returned to sender COD. Once the product is received at our facilities, it will be processed by our Returns & Exchanges department. It must be received back in the same, NEW condition with all original packing material and accessories that it was originally shipped in order to receive a full refund less restocking fee. Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees.

Return Instructions
  • If you are unsatisfied and desire to return an item, please follow the instructions below:
    • Returns Must Be Coordinated - Contact Precision*World via email for a return authorization number (RMA#). Items returned without an RMA# will be returned to the sender COD.
    • Returns Must Be Re-packaged in Original Shipping Materials - The items must be returned in the original packing material and received in "like new" condition. Using other packing may result in rejection of the return.
    • All Items and Accessories Must be Returned- Items missing parts or accessories will not be acceptable for refund and will be charged according to their appropriate cost(s).
    • Instruments Must Be Received in New Condition - Instruments showing marks, such as scratches and dents, etc., due to usage will not be acceptable for refund
  • If your item is damaged during shipping, please report these damages to the shipping company responsible and request a damage claim number and forward it to us. Please also take pictures of the damages and email them to us. We will have the shipping company pick up the damaged package(s). Upon receipt of the claim #, we will ship your replacement items.
  • If you receive a wrong item, please take a picture of the received item and include it in a message to us. Upon confirmation, a prepaid shipping label will be emailed to you for the return. Once this item is return-shipped we will immediately ship you the correct item. Please note, any claim after thirty days of receipt will be handled as a warranty issue.
Email Communication

We employ a full time staff in our online customer service department to reply to the hundreds of customer emails we receive per day. We continually make an effort to provide quick and informative service. However, this response time is dependent on the availability of the information you request and if the information you provided is complete. On most requests you should have a reply from us within 24 hours, if not quicker. You will receive a much faster response if you include the eBay item #s or invoice #s of the items in question in your email and always quote previous emails back when you reply. If you do not receive a reply from us within 24 hours, please be patient. We do receive one or two "failure notice" for email delivery at times. Possible reasons include:

  • Your (or our) email space is full;
  • Your (or our) email Spam filters or other restrictions block the delivery;
  • The email we receive with the code that is not readable.
If these happen, please contact us by telephone or send your emails via eBay messenger by "Ask seller a question" in the "Meet the seller" section on the upright corner of the eBay item listing. All messages sent through eBay will be stored on eBay server. You can find them at "My messages" under "My eBay".
Customs Duties
