What type of warranty do you offer?
If your Proven Choice product should fail within 3 years of purchase, just send it back to us and we will exchange or refund you, no hassle.
Are these actually Dell, Apple, HP Acer products?
Our batteries are not manufactured by Dell, Apple, HP, Acer. They are manufactured to the specifications of each brand especially for Proven Choice by a company we trust and work closely with. They are of comparable, if not better, quality. The cost is significantly less, because you are not paying for the brand logo. Our satisfaction rate has been outstanding and all our batteries are under warranty, which means if you have any problem during the warranty period with the battery we will replace or refund..
Our products are manufactured on demand, so nothing stays in inventory longer than two weeks. Meaning, once your battery arrives, it is no more than 1 month old.
If I need to use my warranty at some later time, how do I do that?
If you have an issue with any Proven Choice product during the warranty period, you need only go through our Online Return Service and we will replace or refund, no hassle.
Where is my item?
Our free standard shipping service (Domestic only) can take up to 10-14 days for your item to arrive. If you need the item sooner, you can purchase expedited (2-3 day) shipping for $4.95, or Overnight shipping for $23.95. You can choose this option at checkout.
International packages can take anywhere from 15 - 20 business days (3-4 weeks) to arrive at their destination, simply due to Customs and the international USPS shipping process.
How do I track my package?
In "My Ebay" you can click on the link to the item you purchased, this will open a window showing the original listing. At the top will be a link "View Order Details" ... you can click that link, and a new window will open. On the right hand side of that window will be the tracking information and a link to the USPS so you can track your order.

What can I do to extend the life of the battery?
There are several steps you can take to help you get maximum performance from your battery:
- Keep the Battery Clean - It's a good idea to clean dirty battery contacts with a cotton swab and alcohol. This helps maintain a good connection between the battery and the portable device.
- Exercise the Battery - Do not leave the battery dormant for long periods of time. We recommend using the battery at least once every two to three weeks. If a battery has not been used for a long period of time, perform the new battery break in procedure.
- Battery Storage - If you don't plan on using the battery for a month or more, store it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. Li-Ion batteries will self-discharge during storage; remember to recharge the batteries before use.

Oooh no. I got my package and realized I ordered the wrong thing!
No problem! If you accidentally purchase the wrong product, please let us know within one week of receipt. You can just send it back to us and we will ship out the right product to you as soon as we receive the original item purchased. We will require that you pay shipping on the replacement item.
My Proven Choice product got murphed in the mail!
Unfortunately this does sometimes happen. If your product arrives in unsatisfactory condition, please just let us know within 7 days of receipt, and we will replace the product, all postage paid by Proven Choice.
How do I return my battery/adapter for a refund?

Will it prolong the life of the battery if I remove it when using the adapter?
There is a school of thought that says that removing the battery while using the adapter will prolong the life somewhat.
My new battery isn't charging. Is it defective?
Usually NO. New batteries come in a discharged condition and must be fully charged before use. It is recommended that you fully charge and discharge the new battery two to four times to allow it to reach its maximum rated capacity. It is generally recommended to do an overnight charge (approximately twelve hours) initially. It is normal for a battery to become warm to the touch during charging and discharging.
