Shipping Policy

We offer United Postal Services (UPS) and United States Postal Services (USPS) as our two shipping options. However, the choice of carrier is based on the final shipment weight.

Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the method of shipping you select, the address that the package is being sent to, and the number of items in your shopping cart combined with the total weight and dimensions required to ship your order.

For all off-season orders, we anticipate a processing time of 1 business day for both domestic and international shipments.  This means that your order will leave our warehouse within 1 business day after it is placed. Express shipments will be shipped out the same day only if payment is received before 1pm (Pacific Time) that business day. Do note that orders placed during the month of October may experience a longer processing time due to a high volume of orders.


Delivery time for most international orders takes about 6 to 10 business days. However, this estimation does not include the time required for your package to clear customs at your country’s borders. Customs-related delays are out of our control and we do advise international buyers to contact their country’s customs office to find out the average processing time. Pure Costumes do not guarantee delivery date for all international orders.

Please review international shipping rates before purchase.

We only offer USPS Priority Mail for all international orders. This will allow us to track and locate your package once it leaves our warehouse. We do not offer USPS First Class International Mail, no exceptions.


Californian residents are required to pay a 8.75% sales tax.

International buyers, please note that import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine these additional costs prior to purchase.


All USPS express packages will require a signature. USPS will make 3 attempts to deliver a package. If no one is present to accept the delivery after 3 attempts, the package will be returned to us.


Occasionally, packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When this happens, we issue a refund less shipping charges. Additionally, if the package was refused, we will also assess a 25% restocking fee. We are unable to reship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you still wish to purchase items, you will have to place a new order.


When your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipment confirmation email. In this email, we will also include a tracking number. This tracking number can be used to track your order at the UPS or USPS website. You may also track your order by logging on to your eBay account.
