History of Purple Orchid

A brief history of how this all started:  During the beginning part of graduate school, I had a roommate. I had a closet full of stuff, but I had to share that closet with the roomie. We're talking at least 15 feet wide and 5 feet deep with double sliding doors on the front, mirrors, hooks, dressers, shelves, etc. It was a dream closet. The closet you're dying to have. Then my roomie left and I was left with a half full closet. Glamorous girls have to remain positive. The closet was NOT half empty now...it was only half full! There was only one thing left to do - Go to the mall! And to the mall I went. Over the next 4 years, I bought so much stuff that it overflowed and I needed to buy some extra dressers to keep things in. That was fun. It was so bad that I didn't allow my boyfriend to open the doors. He knew the space, he knew the closet, but he wasn't allowed to open the doors. Finally, when it was time to move out, graduate school had come and gone....I had to confess. I had to open the doors and start packing. Only then did he truly realize the sheer volume of clothes that I actually had. We counted hundreds of pairs of jeans, almost as many pairs of shoes, hundreds of pounds of tops, etc. The hard part was packing! I didn't want to package up all of my wonderful things - so here they are! You are sharing them with me. 

No, I am not crazy! I'm only out for a good deal on a great wardrobe. I like fashion and I like to look new and refreshed! Please take a few minutes to check out the awesome deals that I have in store for you. I am in the midst of renovating my store, so be mindful of the construction. Remember - check out the fixed priced listings and make me an offer. The "Best Offer" feature is available on most of them, if not all by this point! Keep in mind, no reasonable offers are ever refused. 

But - please ask any and all questions prior to bidding because your bid is a legal contract that signifies that you intend to pay for the items. Due to numerous recent non-paying bidders I am not strictly enforcing this policy and any non-paying bidders will be reported to Ebay and risk account suspension.  This may seem extreme, but it helps keep our trading environment secure and safe. By reporting these issues, I can keep my costs down. For those of you that do not know, sellers pay fees to Ebay for each and every listing they sell. If you bid and do not pay, I lose out in the end. There is a long process where I can apply to get my fee back, but the best solution is always to avoid the problem from the beginning!

I will always work with the buyer to reach an amicable solution, but often times it might take a few hours for me to reply. This is NOT my full time job. I am a teacher and a college instructor. It takes me a little bit of time to reply and I generally only work eBay in the evenings from home.
