Shipping & Handling Charge Information
USPS postal rates have increased once again, as of May 11, 2009. The charges below show some of the new increases. REJOICE Music does charge a small handling fee PER SHIPMENT, ranging from 75 cents to $1. For example, if you order 5 songbooks or 100, the handling cost remains $1.00. This chart shows S/H costs for packages weighing from 1 to 10 lbs.:

Confused about what your S/H costs are? The eBay shipping calculator, unlike just about every other online calculator, does NOT use package weight to determine S/H costs. For example, if it costs $2 to ship 1 piece of music via First Class Mail, the eBay shipping calculator will show a cost of
$12 to ship 12 pieces of music! Generally, the USPS Media Mail rates are correct, but the eBay calculator is not accurate when you purchase multiple items (again, it just adds all the S/H costs together, rather than using package weight to determine S/H costs).
So, to get the accurate S/H costs, just send me a quick email and I'll get back to you as soon as possible with the correct S/H costs. I realize how frustrating this is for buyers (as well as sellers), but eBay just has dropped the ball in this area and shows absolutely no sign of correcting this problem.
Also, if you are purchasing just a few pieces of music, I'll check both First Class and Media rates to determine which is the cheapest. Shipping costs for single copy orders are actual First Class mail rates, plus a handling fee of 75 cents. As an example, this chart shows the cost structure for a purchase of 1-2 pieces of sheet music ONLY, weighing 3 oz:

USPS Priority Flat Rate Boxes
USPS Priority Flat Rate boxes continue to be an excellent value when you need music fairly quickly, and at a good price. Depending on number of pages per anthem, you can generally fit 15 copies of an anthem into a Flat Rate Envelope. You can fit anywhere from 10-15 songbooks (depending on page size) into a Flat Rate Box. The following chart shows the cost for Flat Rate services:

Handling FeesREJOICE's handling fee includes delivery confirmation ($0.18 per package)
where applicable, packaging (new double kraft envelope packing for smaller packages, new bubble mailers for medium packages, and cardboard boxes for larger packages), labels with barcodes as generated by the Endicia mailing system, and probably more tapes than actually needed! In addition, we follow-up each shipment with an email providing details on shipping and a delivery confirmation number (where applicable) as well as a link to the USPS website so you can check on the package status.
Insurance
Optional insurance is available at the low cost of $1.00 -
no matter the package value. REJOICE Music has teamed up with a reputable insurance vendor, DSI (Discount Shipping Insurance) to provide quality package insurance at low costs. This is a considerable savings over USPS insurance, which has increased to $1.70 for $50 value, and up to $6.50 for $500 value. Due to postal regulations, a package insured with a third-party vendor cannot be stamped with the USPS "insured" stamp, but please feel feel to contact DSI at 1-866-852-9956 to confirm coverage.
