Whenever possible, we prefer to ship our furniture via blanket wrap freight. For destinations up and down the west coast I-5 corridor, we have a very reasonable rate of $200 minimum. For other areas of the country, we usually use Plycon Van Lines, but when economy is of the essence, we can also ship your piece via Greyhound Package Express or Forward Air terminal to terminal.

Smaller items (side tables, single side chairs, lamps, decorative objects, etc) will usually ship fully insured via Fedex Ground.

Mid-sized pieces of furniture, measuring less than 30″ x 47″ x 82″ and weighing less than 100 lbs, can be sent via Greyhound Package Express. Shipping with Greyhound is safe and economical, but does come with several minor drawbacks:

Packages can only be insured for up to $300.

Additional insurance can be purchased for items shipped with Greyhound, try: www.ramonins-usa.com or www.u-pic.com

Purchasing additional insurance for packages shipped with Greyhound is the sole responsibility of the buyer. We cannot be held responsible for damage on Greyhound shipments over and above $300 if additional insurance is not purchased.

You need to pick the item up from your nearest Greyhound station, or arrange for local delivery to your home. We can assist you in finding a local delivery service to bring the package to your home.

Home delivery of a package shipped with Greyhound will usually add $75 to the shipping cost.

If shipping with Greyhound is not practical for you, we also have several freight forwarders that we work with who offer home delivery. Depending on the item, shipping via freight may be even MORE economical than shipping with Greyhound, plus you get the advantage of home delivery and insurance. The largest, heaviest pieces of furniture will ship with a blanket wrap freight service. This service can be more expensive than standard freight and can take longer, but with the biggest pieces, it is really the only practical way to go.

NOTE: if you live on the west coast along the I-5 corridor, we can ship blanket wrap freight for SIGNIFICANTLY LESS than to other parts of the country. There is a $200 minimum..

When we list an item as shipping blanket wrap freight, the shipping charge listed is APPROXIMATE. It may be more or less to ship to you depending on where you live. Though our quotes are quite accurate, please contact us for a precise quote.
