Shipping Information

You may combine shipping on multiple item purchases!

- We are more than happy to combine shipping on multiple item purchases (i.e. all of your eBay items will combine into one package with one S&H charge).

- The shipping rate shown on eBay is an estimated rate, based on US Post Office rates, and averaged across their eight shipping zones for all United States zip codes.

- Rockin' Sox calculates shipping based on total weight of the order shipping to your zip code or country.

- If you are purchasing one or multiples of the same item, you can simply click here: {{SHIPCALC_WIDGET}} to open the shipping calculator.

- Because shipping is based on weight, we state the weight of the item in the listing description.  If you are purchasing multiple items that are of different weights, you can email us for a shipping quote.  Please provide the eBay item numbers in which you are interested as well as your zip code and we will be happy to provide a shipping quote.

- In order for your eBay items to be combined, you will need to complete checkout.  Please wait for all of your items to end before proceeding to checkout.  We unfortunately will not entertain any requests through email to combine your items.

- All communication is sent to your eBay registered email address.  Please make sure this email address is current and valid.
- The more we can ship at one time, the less the S&H rate is per item, so stock up!

- When you end an item on eBay, you are agreeing per eBay policy to purchase that item.  If you have a question about what your shipping charges will be, please either use the shipping calculator or email us before you purchase.

- A note about our S&H rates: We charge actual shipping charges from Hickory, NC USA to your location based on the final weight of your order plus a fair handling fee to cover the cost of boxing materials.

Shipping to the United States (including Hawaii, Alaska, US Protectorates and all Military addresses):

- The shipping rate shown on eBay is an estimated rate, based on US Post Office rates, and averaged across their eight shipping zones for all United States zip codes.

- Rockin' Sox calculates shipping based on total weight of the order shipping to your zip code

- Rockin' Sox uses heavy duty poly-bag mailers for most orders.  When an order exceeds what can fit into our large size (9in X 14in bag) we will begin using boxes.  This is to help keep shipping costs down.  If you prefer to have your order shipped in a box, please email us prior to checkout.  A $.75 charge will be added to your order for custom packaging.

- Transit insurance is optional and available for $1.75 per order.  During checkout, if you do not want to insure your order, simply uncheck the box for insurance.  Transit insurance covers primarily lost packages due to the shipping carrier.  It will also cover damages to the package that result in damages to the actual product (i.e. missing items, dirt/grease, water damage, etc.)  Transit insurance does not cover delays in 'expected' ship date or damage to product packaging (i.e. crushed packages) that does not also include damage to the product itself.

- Did you know? - Packages weighing less than .85 lbs (13.6 oz) qualifies for USPS First class.  This shipping method is exactly the same as Priority mail.  So save yourself some money and shipping time - always select USPS First class when it is an available shipping method.

- Estimated delivery times (Note: times may be more or less depending on which of the 8 US shipping zones your zip code is in relation to our 28602 zip code and is simply an estimated transit time)
  USPS First Class - 3-5 business day transit time (5-14 day transit time for Alaska, Hawaii, US Protectorates and Military addresses)
  USPS Parcel Post - 4-10 business day transit time (10-30 day transit time for Alaska, Hawaii, US Protectorates and Military addresses)
  USPS Priority mail - 3-5 business day transit time (5-14 day transit time for Alaska, Hawaii, US Protectorates and Military addresses)

- Did you know? - 98% of our orders ship within 24 hours.  If your payment is received before 10am EST M-F then most likely your order will ship same day.  If your payment is received after 10am EST M-F or on a weekend or US national holiday then most likely your order will ship on the next business day.

Shipping to Canada:

- We are proud to offer shipping to Canada. Please note any stated estimated shipping only applies to the US. You can use the shipping calculator button located in every item description to calculate shipping. If you would like to purchase multiple items, please email us with the item number(s) in which you are interested and we will be happy to provide a shipping quote.

- The US Post Office is currently our only shipping provider to Canada and there are three available options:
  USPS First class international - Any packaged order weighing 4lbs or less.  Please be aware that this shipping method is the lowest cost shipping method and as a result, does not offer tracking capability.
  USPS Priority mail international - Any packaged order regardless of weight.  Please be aware that this shipping method uses the US Customs number as a tracking number.  Canada will usually use this tracking capability but because Canada is outside of the regulation of the US Post Office, there is no guarantee there will be an acceptance scan outside a US port.
  USPS Express mail international - Any packaged order regardless of weight.  Please be aware that while this shipping method is the highest cost shipping method, it offers a tracking number that will guarantee updated information to the shipping address.  Also note that you will be required to sign for the package upon receipt.

- A mandatory transit insurance fee of $2.00 will be assessed to each order shipping to Canada. This mandatory fee is one we do not want to charge but have had no choice but to charge due to an increase in customer complaints due to shipping delay and non-receipt. This insurance protects both you and us from shipping issues by the US Post Office.

- Transit insurance covers primarily lost packages due to the US Post Office.  It will also cover damages to the package that result in damages to the actual product (i.e. missing items, dirt/grease, water damage, etc.)  Transit insurance does not cover delays in 'expected' ship date or damage to product packaging (i.e. crushed packages) that does not also include damage to the product itself.

- Estimated delivery times (Note: times may be more or less depending on your exact location i.e. rural area versus metropolitan city and is simply an estimated transit time)
  USPS First class international - 14-30 business day transit time
  USPS Priority mail international - 6-10 business day transit time
  USPS Express mail international - 5-7 business day transit time

- Did you know? - A transit insurance claim cannot be filed until 45 days from shipment date.  We are aware that Paypal has their own claim deadlines and understand that you should be protected and will act in a way you feel is necessary in order to be protected.  If your order is delayed beyond the 'estimated' delivery time please let us know.  You must know though that we can not track your package if tracking is not available for the shipping method you selected and paid for.  If you have not received your order within the 45 day time-frame, will will file a transit insurance claim for lost/misrouted package.

- Your order may be subjected to customs fees. These are fees charged by the Canadian government. We do not state or quote custom fees in our description because the fees originate outside the US and vary based on package value and area. Because we are a company and ship daily to Canada, requests for 'gift' shipping simply can not be honored.

- Did you know? - eBay recently introduced a policy prohibiting both the request from Canadian buyers from asking eBay sellers to ship packages as 'gift' and agreement from US sellers to ship items as 'gift.'  This is an illegal practice under both US and Canadian law.  So please do not ask.

Shipping Internationally:

- We are proud to offer shipping to most international destinations. Please note any stated estimated shipping only applies to the US.
